Server forgot to enter my drink order I’m sure but besides that. Yummyyy. Pictured is a Caesar salad, house salad, Parmesan crusted lamb chops medium rare with a sweet potato and spinach, long pour perfect 10 margarita, and a ribeye steak medium rare and the mashed potatoes. The bad:
This was the chewiest ribeye and sirloin I’ve ever had. So much connective tissue! Definitely left disappointed about that. T
Now the good:
The char on the ribeye was fantastic compared to other chains. The part of the steak that had more meat than tissue was actually very good !
The mac and choose was amazing! The “Tonion” was also super good!

Longhorn is one of the top steakhouses in Overland Park. This was my fourth visit and I got the 8oz sirloin steak cooked medium well along with 2 skewers of shrimp.
This came with bread and butter, along with rice and broccoli. You can sub these sides out for any number of items.
My steak was cooked perfectly and it tasted amazing. And for $27.28 plus tax and tip this is a great value for your money.
My favorite steak here is the Outlaw Ribeye as I love ribeyes and this is their bone-in version.
Come here if you are hungry and want good steak and good service.

Once a quality mid-range steakhouse, they’ve definitely slipped. Steak quality has dipped, as side-portion size has shrunk and prices have swelled. The wait staff seemed utterly un-engaged and the place was a bit noisy. I wouldn’t complain if the prices were more reasonable, but you expect more from this place (or did).

Steakhouse can’t deliver a steak that’s cooked correctly. Ordered sirloin medium. Got sirloin rare. Sent back and asked for whole new meal. Waited again. Steak came out second time still rare. Steakhouse is in the name of your restaurant. Cooking a steak correctly should not be an issue. Will never return.

Okay meal, nothing was outstanding. Bread was disappointing, bone in ribeye cut thin but cooked well, brussel sprouts were good and prepared well, but the portion size too small for the upcharge paid. French onion soup mostly cheese and crouton, not enough actual soup. Overall it’s pretty meh. Expected steak to be the star. It really wasn’t. Service was good, if only the kitchen was as motivated. If you think this is a “top steakhouse” you might be delusional. Much better options than this in town.

We had the best food and service here recently! We came in on a Sunday for an early dinner party of 4, and sat in the bar area to also watch the Chiefs game. Our bar server, Kendra, was so attentive, and it was pretty busy, but she was friendly and great. We’ll definitely be returning to this location.
