Food: 3
Service: 5 (always a great experience!!)
Highlights:
– Outdoor seating is dog friendly!
– Fun bar scene and interesting drinks
– Festive, dark interior! Good for dates when you don’t want to see their face.
– Chips and salsa/guac are great snacks
Notes:
– The food is only “ok”. Not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had but it gets the job done. Come for the drinks and vibes!
The food is flavorful, and the drinks are very good. This is a place I would return multiple times. It’s a mix crowd, but majority white. However, it is very welcoming still.
The taco was and the guacamole were both delicious! The corn was also amazing.
Really enjoyed the place definitely will be back to try other things on the menu!
The black bean soup was perfectly balanced with beans, broth, spice, and cilantro. I skipped the sour cream due to my dairy-free diet. We also ordered the cauliflower taco but requested it to be vegan by omitting the dressing and opting for a lemon vinaigrette instead. It featured cauliflower, red chili, garbanzo, bean purée, avocado, cucumber, and tomatoes, typically served with honey lime yogurt dressing. Everything was made fresh from scratch and undoubtedly one of the best tacos I have ever had.
Next, we tried the Korean barbecue broccoli taco, which included broccoli, kimchi, black bean purée, and a sambal vinaigrette. The freshness of the ingredients shone through, including the flavorful vinaigrettes. It should come as no surprise that our city is home to some of the best restaurants, and this one stood out for its exceptional service and food quality.
In addition to the delicious food, they offered lunch specials at a reasonable price of $12.95. This included a choice of two soups or salads, along with an entrée. In today’s economy, this kind of value is greatly appreciated. I highly recommend dining here for good food, friendly atmosphere, and excellent value.
The price of the food is not matching the quality!
Overall, the place is nice. The scenery is great and the service was OK. My overall honest opinion is you can find great tasting authentic Mexican food elsewhere, and pay a fraction of the cost..this was our first and last time
