Stopped here for lunch while on a road trip in the area and had an amazing biscuit and country ham. A perfect biscuit, crunchy on top and fluffy inside. The ham was a great choice, and I look forward to returning to try other combinations. There are also wraps, burgers, and sandwiches. And there is hot sauce on each table. This was at the gas station, which made it very convenient for passing though. There were plenty of tables and booths to eat inside.

We had attempted Denny’s before hand and that was a total flop. My fiance and I just wanted a quick brunch for a meeting. So we went to Tudor’s. For being a gas station quick stop it was delicious, very fast and easy service.

This is only the second time I’ve partaken in the Biscuit World experience. This one did not quite live up to the expectations. The inside is share with a spaghetti and pizza restaurant and a gas station.
Our order was not right and not hot.
I have had the burritos before and they were GREAT, but the biscuit experience was lacking. I hope to be able to provide better results on my next visit.

Very disappointed with recent breakfast experience here. I ordered a side of gravy with my breakfast meal, adding about $3, not aware of how very small the portion size is. When I politely spoke w/ manager on duty, she dismissed my disappointment regarding the small portion size and just wanted to sell me another small portion for about $3 more. The situation was very awkward and it’s obviously they don’t care. I noticed they typically give canned responses to negative reviews. I’ve found other Tudor’s to be more customer-friendly. Also, other locations have many more lunch options to choose from, which I understand is due to this location having limited space inside a gas station. By the way, Wendy’s only charges $1 for a side of gravy. Hardee’s charges $2 for this side and also offers mix-n-match, in which you can order 2 whole orders of biscuit and gravy for $5. Canadian bacon as the meat choice.. paper thin. I’ll give credit for the biscuits being considerably large.

We were so very disappointed! We had not ate at this place in a few years. It used to our absolute favorite. The food was prepared well and tasted amazing. I’d always get the blueberry pancake plater and my husband would get their biscuit sandwich platter. We ate there yesterday. Most was so bad we had to throw it out. The pancake had an ok taste but must be made ahead and microwaved when ordered. It had hard areas that you could not cut or chew all through it to the point I threw it away. The cashier said they no longer make anything but plain pancakes now. I ordered my bacon burnt to ensure it was extra well done. It came out almost raw. Couldn’t eat it either. My husbands biscuit was all cold and hard. The egg and bacon was also cold. He ordered coffee. We had to ask when we got our food about his coffee order. The guy ran back got a cup and handed it to him saying he would get it himself at an open pot by the drink fountain. We were shocked. We are not germ phobias but in the height of cold and flu season they have an open glass pot for everyone to pour coffee. They at least could have a carafe that has it enclosed. Then I asked about anything to put on the pancake? It came plain, no syrup, butter, spread, etc. He left and a bit later a girl gave me a small metal cup of syrup that was so covered in it you couldn’t pick it up off the table, it had stuck solid to it. The entire meal was such a disappointment.

We came to try Tudor’s on a trip through West Virginia, and it was absolutely awesome. It was a totally wholesome environment where everyone seemed to know everyone. The food was prepared to order and was amazing!! I wish we lived closer than 6 and a half hours, but if we’re ever back through WV we’ll definitely stop in. Thank you for the hospitality and amazing breakfast Tudor’s!!!

Nice size portions, but it’s a bit on the pricey side.

Very slow service, waiting is such a long, just to they notice you when you standing in a front of counter then from the moment I order my dish past 30 minutes and I still didn’t got it, and during that time, team have some regular talk like nothing happens, waiter clean the tables whit chemical without any gloves and without washing the hands hi go and take your plate who was standing for almost 10 minutes on the bar, at the end I stand up and come to take it out, and I mention to my meal is standing there 10 minutes and I got answer it for sure still very hot what absolutely wasn’t case. On the receipt is no waiter name. So price for breakfast is only what was nice, inside the kitchen was nice number of workers and inside the counter also, so main problem is less talk more work and concentrate on what you doing

Ok. On the road again early in the morning in W. VA…normally I wouldn’t stop due to ..well it’s W. VA. and the friend I knew here moved for various reasons.
Anyway, my go to spot for biscuits when I’m on the road is N. Carolina’s Biscuitville and anywhere in GA or down south, period. So I had to stop..well I was hungry too.
First this place is in a gas station. Ok. I have had decent food at 1 other gas station. Indian food in Maryland. So.. I’m hopeful.
Went to drive thru. Long line but was moving. Order takers seemed a little stressed and bored. For me that’s below average customer service. Sighs are not necessary. That said, I ordered a Loaded Blackberry Biscuit, Bacon Biscuit, Sausage Biscuit and an Apple Biscuit.
The biscuits were large and looked fluffy but were not done. Bacon was partially cooked, sausage not flavorful the fried apples overcooked and Blackberry Biscuit was uninspiring.
I was disappointed to say the least My suggestion at this point: Don’t go thru the drive thru. Order inside if you have the time. I think timing is crucial.
I went inside and spoke with Assistant Manager Karen who informed me that they had a new cook who was not as attentive as they could have been.
Having said that..I will try them again the next time I pass through the area to see if they have upped their game.. if I have the time
