The smoked fish dip was spot on. Got that Smokey flavor, served with lettuce, tomato and red onion. Capresse salad, tomato, mozzarella cheese, basil and balsamic vinegar. Quite tasty. Hubs got the clams, they were a little late in coming out, but that’s because they got a new shipment in from Cedar Key, so yeah, we’ll wait. He enjoyed them

A bunch of us friends stopped in here after we went on an airboat tour. The food was awesome. I had catfish and beans and fries. The fries were real good but the beans and the catfish were both outstanding. The catfish was most and tender and crispy and sweet. The beans were amazing, with a lot of flavor and onions! I can’t wait to come back here!

A fun place to go with a lakeside view. Choose from a selection of handhelds and entrees. We really enjoyed the onion rings appetizer. The boil and oyster po’boy were both good. The prices were fair and the service friendly.

We were recommended this restaurant by Capt Chad after our airboat tour at Tom & Jerry’s, and we were NOT disappointed! We were a medium group of 7 there for lunch and were immediately seated. Soon after, server Donna Z took our drink orders and saw to all of our needs. She was fast, knowledgeable, and anticipated our needs, even bringing out and leaving pitchers on the table for refills without being asked. The food was delicious with VERY generous portions. Server Donna Z was always checking on us and the other tables nearby, and you could tell she is excellent at her job. As we were leaving they were setting up for live music on the back deck, and I sure wish we could have stayed longer, as I bet this place gets ROCKING! I definitely recommend Big Bass Grill and server Donna Z for a terrific meal and service.

a party of 8. getting ready for a wedding decided to go here for a nice “fine dining experience “ as advertised.. Waitress was sweet as can be so i cannot be mad at that, One in group had gotten a salad with Chicken and it’s not done. still pink, it got fixed said a 10% discount would be added to her check and they only took away 80 CENTS. Myself orders the gator tail with fries and mac and cheese, mac and cheese tasted like kraft with the powder poured in but not mixed at all. disgusting. my gator. florida gals know. it’s tough but it’s definitely not so tough that you cannot bite into it and get a bite without chewing for 10+ mins, fries were okay. everything was luke warm to cold.. Drinks were delivered one that has nothing to do with pickles tasted like straight pickle juice. Again it was made right by the waitress they said they were training in kitchen but that should not stop you from providing not only fully cooked but edible food to costumers.

Had a fabulous meal and drinks! Jesse & Kim gave excellent service! Had the fried oyster dinner. The oysters were very tasty! Loved the fried mushrooms! The margaritas were very nice. The seafood boil was a good size portion and the shrimp were perfect.Thanks! Will go back

This was my first stop my first time in Florida. Our waitress was so kind and awesome! Great food, great view of the lake, and great people! I never had sweet tea, alligator, catfish, or frog and we were taken care of! Amazing sweet tea and Big Bass Grill has given my trip an excellent start! Thank you!

Drinks were ok. Service was subpar. Ordered one of the most expensive entrees, a boil for one. Server said it was enough to share as an appetizer. What we got was what looked like a picked over plate. See photo. Menu stated it would come with fries and coleslaw but then we were told the menu needed to be updated and the one small redskin potato and quarter of corn on the cob took place of that. If your looking for a place like this go to Sleepy Hollow Fishcamp.
