Great experience at this Waffle House. Roxie provided exemplary service and made sure everything was just right. The food came out hot and perfectly cooked, especially the hashbrowns and bacon. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. I’ll definitely be stopping by again.

There are so many things I love about eating at the Waffle House. The food always comes out hot and fast. Service is friendly and on point. But most of all … the people seem to like working there, they get along well (it’s fun to listen to them cut with each other) and I’m always amazed how the waitstaff just yells out orders to the cooks and then come out perfect !!

Look, I don’t know how much you can expect from a Waffle House at 2:30am. However, the service was impeccable, the restaurant was clean & didn’t feel “greasy”, the atmosphere was calm & pleasant. The food though, it wasn’t great. The grits are often inconsistent, this time they were runny & slightly crunchy. Will that keep me from returning? No! I’m just going to hope they get it right next time.

The Waffle House located in south Lake Charles, Louisiana is an above average Waffle House. The food was good. The service was fast and friendly. It wasn’t very clean. My menu was very sticky with some sort of syrup (I think). Our waitress gladly replaced it with another sticky menu. Our silver ware wasn’t the cleanest. Our table top wasn’t clean. The parking lot is too small and not enough parking for how busy this particular Waffle House is. The music was extremely too LOUD for any restaurant. It was extremely annoying. We won’t return to this particular location. We don’t recommend.

Save your money. Have been to many different Waffle Houses in other locations and this is by far the worse place ever. We sat there and nobody appeared to care they customers. Server didn’t appear to know how to take an order.. Ordered a hamburger all the way for myself and they had trouble deciphering what I ordered. I started to eat it and after 2 bites it disintegrated in my hand. Who the hell tries to eat a hamburger with a fork cause you can’t pick it up? Tasteless to boot. Never eating there again. Place is dirty and they didn’t clean tables between customers. Should have walked out then but I’ve always loved Waffle House. May patronize other but not this one.

Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. The cook was so rude she made a new girl cry. Does NOT know how to properly speak to people. She messed up my order twice so maybe someone should yell at her.
