I adore this place and can’t praise it enough. Absolutely delicious food – breakfast is an endless selection of mouthwatering pastries and breakfast sandwiches then from lunch until dinner it’s wood fired pizzas and hot or cold sandwiches. Get the cheesecake! Hands down the best place to eat in Tellico Plains! Something for everyone to enjoy!

Even though I’m vegan, its always “cheat day” when we roll through Tellico Plains and hit up the bakery. Their Blueberry scones should be illegal. Or at least feature a Surgeon Generals warning “Warning. Consuming these scones will occupy your mind for weeks, and raise the bar for all future scone eating.” Their cinnamon buns and even the plain Jane croissants are all just amazing.

Add to the squeaky floor, old brick vibe and its a place you won’t want to leave.

I do wish they had more vegan options but I’m fine shifting my morals when it comes to Tellico Grains.

What happens in the plains….stays in the plains.

Stop in here for lunch. We had 6 people in our group. 2 of us had pizza, the rest of us had sandwiches. All the food was excellent. Plus we got some bakery goods, everything we ordered were very delicious. I recommend this place for everyone in the area. Small restaurant, very good atmosphere, good decor. Very friendly staff as well.

This place was recommended to us by a man we did not know at Living Waters winery in Blairsville Georgia. It’s at the end of the Cherohala Skyway from North Carolina to Tennessee. Fantastic views and fall colors on the drive.

Simply put, the best. Food is fresh. Big portions. Quaint ambience. The amount of people who show up at opening time attests to it’s yummi-ness.

Went on a busy Saturday. The line was almost out the door, but it was moving.. we got an Italian sandwich that was pretty good, the bread was delicious. Pepperoni pizza was OK. I didn’t care for it. If we go back, we will just get sandwiches and desserts, lol The chocolate ganache cupcake was the star!!! Fresh, rich, chocolatey, and big enough to share.

We got lucky and got a parking spot right in front of the door, and there seemed to be plenty of parking around. I think every single person who was in the town that day was in the restaurant!

We have a vacation home in Tellico Plains. I stopped in to get a few items for thank you gifts! Walked out with 2 pumpkin rolls and the best croissant! My gifts were received with my smiles! I love supporting local and I will definitely be back over and over! The staff was so friendly, polite, welcoming, and eager to make my day!

So yummy! And creative sadwiches, too. I wish I had prepared so I could’ve bought more bread! My one l Ioaf: It’s SO good. Being a former German citizen, I have enjoyed many of the about 3200 types of available bread and this is some of the best I’ve tried in the US! Keep up the good work!
Pastries are good, too! And reasonable…
Apparently, their pizza is good as it was in demand.
