Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

We went to the Whataburger on S.P.I.D. we went there at 8 in the morning for breakfast before school. The cashier was very nice. After we placed our breakfast order, my grandson asked her what does the prickly pear drink taste like. She tried to explain then said, “let me bring you a sample.” It was delicious. Loved her attitude of helpfulness. Thank you for a great breakfast and a kind cashier.

There is an older lady in the morning crew that absolutely makes my day when she serves me. She always goes above and beyond! I’ve had issues with night crew before they’ve forgotten a whole burger in my order but she is so great she makes up for anything wrong night crew has done lol. There are more workers I’ve met that are also pretty good in the morning crew as well.

came into the whataburger on S.P.I.D, today at 9:45pm and ordered a Patty Melt meal. The fries given to me were cold and stale. Which is frustrating to me because I was dining in. I went to the manager on duty and requested fresh fries because my fries tasted cold and stale like they were sitting for awhile. The manager argued with me telling me they don’t serve cold and stale fries while touching them. And seeing for himself they were cold. Roles his eyes and says we don’t do that but I’ll get you a new one. Why question is why argue? The fries were obviously sitting. And served to me. Just serve me a fresh one. And all is well.

Very clean restaurant. Super friendly service that is fast and attentive. Like most Whataburgers the food is hot and delicious. The drive through here is the busiest but they are fast and correct on their orders.

Some reason this store always takes way too long during night shift and early mornings. I wait too long in the drive thru only for my food to be cold and soggy. Not to mention the chicken strips they serve are almost the size of chicken nuggets. This store wasn’t like this a couple years ago so idk if the new people working there cant do anything right or what but hopefully they get a new staff

this like the 3rd time this month they mess up my order. i just got a bacon breakfast bowl and they gave me sausage, earlier i got a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and they didnt put the bacon, and the again last week they gave me a sausage bob instead of bacon bob
