This is for sure out stop every time we travel through her. The service was amazing and our waitress was fun and sweet. Im a gold star mom and was very proud to have left my sons memorial id card on the folded flag case. So if you are stopping through scan the back of that card and follow his page. I will most definitely be coming back.

So glad we found this gem! Off the beaten path, we found the best French Onion soup ever. The Ribeye was cooked to perfection. The Oso Buco had great flavor but needed to be served on a bed of mashed potatoes with gravy. The onion rings were really good. The bar is fully stocked. Give yourself some extra time to explore all the vintage items throughout the building. Enjoy!

Stopped here finally after years of coming to deming and say we had to. Really cool spot!
Partially a museum and partially a restaurant. We went the day after Christmas about 4pm and sat down for drinks. We mentioned we only were going to order drinks (we had dinner plans lined up) and the waitress seemed uninterested after that and we waited about 5 more minutes until someone else could ask if we had been helped and they assisted.
Drinks were strong— table had a good variety of things and they were all good.
Overall a cool spot to stop at.

The food is good, the French onion soup is THE BEST you will EVER have and I don’t even like onions! The environment is eclectic and zi see something different every time I go. The service is hit or miss….it usually starts out great.
It worth the drive and it feels like you’re going out in the middle of nowhere, you kind of are. Its worth it!

We are RV’ers and visited the quaint town of Deming, New Mexico. My husband was hungry for a good steak and we were told to go to this restaurant. It was quite a distance, but we gave it a shot. Our first impression was this was a restaurant of character! That was confirmed once inside. And we were immediately advised that the restaurant was short staffed, but chose to wait it out. After about a 30 minute wait, we were seated at the Deli Gator table. After another 30 minute wait, we went to the bar to order beer. Then about another 30 minute wait, we were able to order our meal. I ordered the seared Ahi Tuna, with salad and their famous onion soup, hubby ordered the Ribeye, with salad and onion soup. We also ordered mushrooms and Jalapeño Poppers. My meal was delicious and the onion soup was amazing! My husband’s steak, however ,was not seasoned at all and tough. It was definitely not a prime cut. The mushrooms were good but the jalapeño popper’s were not spicy at all. For the price we paid for the meal, we would have expected a tender and seasoned steak grilled and not fried on a flat top cooker. I’m rating this restaurant a three out of five in hopes that the restaurant can improve the quality of their steaks and also their grilling process.

Excellent Ribeye steak. I would have liked it a little thicker. Salad was great. Baked potato was well cooked.
Waitress was sweet, pretty and friendly. Nice smile. She had more customers than she could handle efficiently. Service was a little slow.
It was an enjoyable evening at a unique place in SW New Mexico.
