Years ago I loved Golden Corral, the food was good, the service great, and the price reasonable. But for years now the quality of the food has become abysmal and impossible to overlook it’s faults for the sake of value. The service directly reflects the food’s quality as most servers just can’t be bothered to do the basic functions of their jobs, like clean tables and chairs, provide adequate silverware for the seated guests, or offer refills in a reasonable time period. I have a family and I consider a buffet a great choice for people with kids as it lets them eat whatever they wish. But even the kids no longer like most of the food offerings here due to the poor quality of the food which says something as most kids will eat whatever and call it delicious.

We were a group of 11 adults and 3 kids. They made a space for us in our own room. Place was clean, the food overall was good. Gizzards were not great. One adult has dementia and they helped keep an eye on him, sending him back to us when he would get turned around. Staff was awesome.

The server never refilled our drinks, the food was overcooked and dry. Kind of the perfect combination of eating sand and not having anything to wash it down. At one point I had to take matters into my own hands and get my own water. Good news is that I gave myself a big tip, never go back here.

The waiting staff were extremely nice. The food on the other hand, was not that great. We went on the weekend, so it was more expensive. The only meat out was dry, and some of the food was bland. The steak was delicious, though. And I ended up finding a super long hair in the taco cheese. I try to avoid bad reviews, but this food for the price was not good.

We ate at the one in Olathe. Good service. Good selection of food. Food was hot and tasty. It is like going to a huge buffet. Our waitress was very friendly. She kept an eye on us, bringing drink refills as needed. Again this waitress seemed to know many of the people in the dining room. You can sit where you want. Eat as much as you want. Eating areas and bathrooms are clean. The food area is clean. Would definitely go back!

Food was ok. Not sick yet after 20 hours but some items tasted pretty bad. Biggest rant was it took me about 15 plates to find one that was even close to clean. Most had food still stuck on them and almost all had grease prints. Just plain dirty!!! I will not be back. I have never given a bad review to any restaurant before, but this one needs to be reported to the health department. Great service from server: Kelly. She deserves more than we could afford to give her for a tip.

Our waiter Donald was phenomenal. The manager was amazing. That aside, the food was lacking and the dessert section started closing down before we were even finished with our meal. I wanted chocolate strawberries but the fountain was torn down. I then wanted ice cream, but the guy was tearing it down, too. Probably won’t come back any time soon.

My husband and I ate here a few days ago, our server was Bill…he was such an awesome server!! He brought us a plate of nice rolls when my husband asked for some, he refilled our cups regularly, if we needed anything we didn’t ever have to find him! He was the best!! We will for sure be coming back and for sure sitting in his section again ❤️❤️

I would not feed this food to my neighbors dog. This is by far the worst old, cold and poorly cooked food ever. There was so much trash all over the entire restaurant and the salad bar that i could not understand how anyone would eat off of it. We have been going here for a long time and the last few times were not great but yesterday at 5:00 it was terrible. Cost us over $28 and we did not take one bite. We just walked out and we won’t be back. Corporate should step in and do something. Whom ever is in charge needs to be retrained. There is no room for this in the food industry. The place is disgusting. “Time to lean time to clean”. People want fresh food and a clean restaurant so fix it.
