My husband Dave and I used to come here all the time, then when the pandemic hit we would order carry out breakfast about 3-4 times a week. We stopped eating here a few years ago when the quality started going down.
They were cooking the hashbrowns so much that they were like eating mashed potatoes, which dont get me wrong, I love, just not for my breakfast. Well, the other day I was really missing their chicken strips so we ordered dinner from them for the 1st time in years. Sad to say that the prices went up and the quantity and quality went down. They used to give you 5 strips and a bunch of fries, now its 4 strips and the barely handful of fries was laughable. Needless to say, we will never come back. We gave it another chance after giving them so many chances before but after this, we are all done. We now go to Leos in Flat Rock, they have way better pricing and their hashbrowns are actual hashbrowns.

Stopped in for breakfast as it was close proximity to my morning appointment… Breakfast was good, everything cooked just right … However… I cringed when I got the tab; 1 breakfast – 2 eggs scrambled w/cheese, hash browns and toast, water for beverage … 1 breakfast – 2 eggs scrambled w/cheese, hash browns, sausage links, and toast, small tomato juice and coffee for beverages … $30.00 not including tip…… Wow……. Good food and service… but still….

Love this place! Their salads are the best. My wife loves the chicken version and I love the gyro version. Their gyro meat and tatziki are among the best I have had. The coneys are iconic and perfect. Finish off with some rice pudding if you have room. Sharing is always a good idea! We went for breakfast the next day and had the Dino special omelet. Fantastic!

There is nothing bad to say about this place. I have been going here since my high school days (more than 10 years ago), and the food is still just as good, or even better! Our server Bri was just one of the kindest and most heartwarming people I’ve ever met. She made us feel like family! We got the Olympic combo, fish and chips, and coconut cream and blueberry pies. I honestly cannot choose a fave for that night because each dish was superb! This is how coney islands should be.

UPDATE: Just had their egg bennies, and strawberry rhubarb pie, and just WOW! I love this place so much.

The food and service was good but the price was pretty high. For two people it cost $36.40 for a patty melt and club sandwich both with chili fries. I could be wrong but seemed pricey. Portions were big so next time we’ll be splitting a dish.

I love their Coney Island Hotdogs! Michigan Chili is the bomb! Also, love the fish and chips. The fish was perfectly cooked and the batter was nice and crispy! Coconut cream pie was a great ending to this meal!

UPDATE: I recently tried the Greek fries and it was good! The tzatziki and feta made the fries decadent. I also enjoyed the Peanut butter pie!! It was light and very easy to eat!

I was impressed by the generous portions of the fish and shrimp dinner! Every bite was delicious and perfectly cooked. The eggs Florentine were delicious as well. The hollandaise sauce that was truly a winner and a standout

I preferred breakfast catering for a birthday party today. Everyone I talked to and the online menu made ordering a breeze. Everyone was friendly as well.
All of the food was reasonably priced , fresh, and enjoyed by everyone. We will definitely be repeat catering customers.

When in the downriver area, we always come here for breakfast. We just couldn’t come back to Texas without a stop at Olympic Coney Island.

First off, as soon as you walk in the door, you are warmly greeted. They always have plenty of staff and they are always busy.

One of the incredible things about a Coney Island is the ability to have a coney island at 7 am if you wish and this place serves them up beautifully!

Nobody is a stranger here. Striking up conversations with the next table is the norm.

Stop in and have breakfast, a coney and you MUST take home some of their Greek Dressing. It is so worth it.
