Got the 2 piece fish and 3 chicken combo and was shorted a piece of chicken. First time I’ve ever got fresh fries though so that good but you have to be able to count. Tried to call and get it correct but they don’t pick up the phone.

This LJS is newly remodeled and up to date. The interior is modern minimalist. It wasn’t dirty but it did have some tables with stuff on it. They don’t have bottles of condiments any more. It’s all little packets. The staff was friendly. The prices have gone up a bit while the servings have decreased. The atmosphere was quiet and generic. It is still a place to hit one in awhile but I won’t make a special trip.

The new stand alone location in Del City is awesome. Food is fresh and made to order. I live by the NW OKC location and choose to drive to this location because of the great service and fresh food. The portions are great also. I hope more metro locations convert to this style of restaurant.

The food I ordered was so messed up. I ordered 3 piece chicken meals and received 2 meals with 2 pieces of chicken and didn’t receive one meal at all. Also randomly in my order was a container full of nothing but crumbs. Tried to call to speak with a manager and the phone just rang, Will never order from here again!

I held off reviewing this place until I had eaten here a few times, and let me tell you, it is ALWAYS GOOD!
I actually have never eaten at LJS until this one was rebuilt. And if they are as good as this place, I have definitely been missing out!
Staff overall is really solid, too. I’ve only had onelottle hiccup in that regard, but the manager seems to be good at picking quality staff to bring on board.

Newly remodeled and very clean inside. All the employees were extremely polite and helpful. It actually had the old school Long John Silvers vibe. Oh one more important detail they were dropping orders fresh not piles of light warmed food. It was a fantastic blast from the past.

Okay, folks, hear me out.. Five stars for a modern-day LJS?? For this location at lunch today, that’s exactly what they delivered.. Let me explain..
I haven’t visited an LJS in over 20 years, maybe even longer.. At some point in my past, I decided I didn’t need this kind of fare in my life, and frankly, there weren’t very many decent LJS locations out there..
So, today, one of my coworkers said he wanted to visit LJS for lunch, and we had two to choose from.. We opted for this location because it was recently rebuilt and held a higher Google rating..
We arrived at the very beginning of the lunch service, and I attribute our great experience, in part, to arriving early in the day..
I ordered the fish and shrimp platter with cole slaw and waffle fries for my sides.. The meal was nicely presented. Each of the items was hot, fresh, and to my delight, rather tasty..
The fish and shrimp were set atop an ample serving of LJS’s famous crispy batter pieces.. If I were a betting man, I’d say that they were prepared exactly as LJS directs them to be.. Perfectly crisp and without excess oil.. The end result was a flavorful pair of fish fillets and a half dozen lightly battered and crispy shrimp..
The waffle fries and cole slaw were perfectly portioned and accompanied the meal quite well.. The cole slaw was cold and crisp and had a great flavor, and the waffle fries were fried just right and lightly salted..
The atmosphere of the restaurant was clean, bright, and inviting.. The fellow working the counter was pleasant and helpful, as well..
All in all, this LJS did a great job in delivering exactly what I imagine is a textbook meal for the chain..
We’ve already decided that this LJS may just find itself in our normal lunch rotation on a monthly basis.. We shall see.. I’d definitely return for this same meal in the future..

When we arrived, there were people waiting to give their orders and several waiting to receive their orders. We, personally, waited twenty minutes before we were acknowledged and our order was taken. Every single person that were given their orders ahead of us had returned with wrong orders or missing items. The girl wearing the headset was more interested in the drive thru and not about people at the counter. The young man that finally took our order was doing everything and stepped up to the counter customefs. Once our food arrived, it was hot and delicious and best of all, it wasnt greasy. Other than the poor service, we would go back for the LJS good food.

So glad they reopened this location with a brand new store. I was able to finally visit today and was not disappointed! The food and service were excellent as always but the new dining room/store made it that much better. It’s probably been 30-35 years since I’ve been in a new Long John Silvers and it’s definitely nice to have this location here in the OKC metro area. If you haven’t been in a while and like the food or you just want to try a newly built location, I highly recommend this location.
