It’s been a while. As you all know, many of us are going through a lot right now—living paycheck to paycheck, struggling to make rent or keep our mortgage afloat. I understand. I feel it too.
Tonight, I want to talk about an amazing and delicious Cuban restaurant called Riconcito #4—which in English basically means Little Corner Spot #4.
They offer a weekly menu where you can pick four items for about $55–$65, and let me tell you—it is well worth it. The food is incredible, filling, and somehow shrinkflation has not touched them.
Everyone who works there is phenomenal. Special shoutout to Elietys, who always guides you the right way and makes sure you leave happy. And to the chef—who I am dying to meet—your food is so unbelievably good that you deserve recognition all on your own. Management couldn’t be better, and whoever the owner is, I would truly love to meet you one day just to tell you face to face what an incredible place you’ve built.
As a first-generation Cuban American, my mother worked in these cantinas—places designed to help the working class by providing affordable, home-style meals for individuals and families. Seeing that this owner continues that tradition means more than words can explain.
They may not know this, but as someone who is working and struggling, I want them to know this:
Because of them, I get to eat at least one good meal a day. And that matters.
I took a few pictures, but my friends and fellow Americans—if you want authentic Cuban food and you want to support a business that is actually helping the working class, please support Riconcito #4 or any of their other locations.
God bless you all, and God bless the United States of America.
We—the working-class people—are what keep this country running. If we stopped working for just one month, I promise you the owners and Congress would be begging us to come back.
And yes—I’m thinking about running for Miami-Dade Mayor in 2028.
Because I am the people, and I know exactly what my people need.
Couldn’t be happier and highly recommend.
Our server was very nice and efficient.
Definitely a great spot if you are craving authentic Cuban fare.

I went to the restaurant today with my mom and my sister, eager to show her how amazing the food was. The food was delicious but something that ruined my second experience a bit was the service, our server Estefania was not the best. Seemed a little bit mad at the fact that my mom didn’t want to order soup, we figured she wasn’t the friendliest. She took so much time to give us and charge our food. I always give tip even when service is bad but I even regret giving her $4. Food amazing, that server is not.
Had to come back to my review as my family started eating food 2 hairs in the rice. Rediculous. Place has gone down hill since owners changed.
