The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the staff were attentive and welcoming throughout the evening. I rarely go to vegetarian restaurants, but this one truly surprised me in the best way. The alcohol-free cocktails were especially creative, with a long and inspiring list to choose from. I tried two, and both were refreshing and full of flavor. Overall, it was a wonderful meal and an experience I would happily recommend.
The seasonal vegetable platter was delicious, unique, and really fun to eat. The papaya salad I thought was a bit boring and lacked depth. The glazed eggplant was also interesting but not something I’d get again. The rice paper mushroom portion had a soggy texture and I felt didn’t really go with the eggplant. The crispy rice was so crispy and I loved pickled vegetables it came with. And we finished with the sesame rice balls which also I felt the sesame flavour was too strong and you were left with an unpleasant aftertaste.
We spent $76 CAD so it’s fairly pricey. Because we really only liked 2 dishes, this isn’t a place I’d come back to but I am happy we tried it!
CAM ON to Tran- Deputy manager and your colleagues
The dishes were phenomenally delicious (and I am not even vegetarian). Mushroom fried spring rolls was smashing.
Very relaxed ambience made this one of our favourite restaurants in HCM city.
Highly recommended
The service staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, and they happily accommodated our request to change tables for our family.
The only unpleasant moment was when my family was leaving. My mother and sister stopped by The Bloom to take some photos, and someone came to the counter there and gave our family a very unfriendly look. I felt uncomfortable and asked my family to leave early.
As we walked past the entrance, the receptionist was very polite and sweet.
The fried tofu and banana leaves were my personal highlights.
A very well designed open interior with a natural feel.
Welcoming and attentive service throughout.
The Hum Garden makes a strong entry to my top 10 dining experiences ever.
