I’ve been going to Golden Donuts for a few years now. I usually get a dozen glazed donuts. They are deliciously outstanding!!!! Just this morning I decided to try their cinnamon rolls, and I was not disappointed!!! I’m lying, when they were all gone (which didn’t take long) I was very disappointed, but there’s always tomorrow! Oh, I’d like to give a big shout to the staff there. They are always courteous and pleasant which is a big reason why I keep returning! Keep up the Great work team!

The new owners, management and staff have made a difference in the environment. It feels welcoming. They have had twists any time of day I’ve gone. They even were making fresh filled donuts in the afternoon. I wish I had waited the 10 minutes it was going to take for a fresh filled donut. But this just gives me a reason to make the trip back. I’ve got to try their filled donuts. Their chocolate cake with glaze, glazed with chocolate on top, blueberry glazed cake, both twist types, strawberry with sprinkles… it’s ALL GOOD. I can’t properly explain the environment. The staff has bright, knowledgeable, confident energy. It just feels brighter in there than it used to. I hope they succeed.

This is the best donut shop in Columbus, GA. Hands, down. Sure, there are fancier more expensive donuts around, but from the friendly service, to always being warmly greeted, to the best tasting donut, there is no reason to go anywhere else.
GD is my kids favorite donuts, so they are always asking for me to bring them Golden donuts when I come home. I live in Leesburg, GA, and GD are better than anything in Albany, GA. Do better! I went inside due to their being 3 cars in the drive-thru, okay cool! I stand in and wait for the 3 cars to be served, only for to be ignored and other cars show up in the drive thru then be told he have to handle the drive thru first, that makes no sense when there’s cars steady pouring in! So you mean to tell me you can’t take 2 people order? That took the time to come inside and wait patiently?? Do better! So I guess I’d still be still standing there because cars was steady coming!

Fix your hours on Google and I will give you five stars. It is so annoying to pull up to a place that is closed even though the hours on Google show open. Seriously, great donuts But this is too easy to fix to let go.

I did not know you could fill donuts to this degree. I am amazed.
The donuts were good, and the service was good. Be aware though that the Boston cream donut and Bavarian cream donut both come in chocolate glaze versions and unglazed versions. I think technically a Boston cream donut has to include chocolate to be a Boston cream donut, but the chocolate-free option is there anyway. I thought the cream in the donuts was too sweet, but on the other hand, the texture of the donuts were very good and fresh.

I was visiting for a family reunion when my family told me to try this place out and I’m so happy I did. Elijah made the experience amazing he recommended his favorite as well as explaining what each donut was if we had questions about them. He even let me experience my first fresh hot glazed donut. These were the best donuts I’ve ever had and whenever I’m in town I will be stopping by here first. These donuts even stayed fresh and soft long enough to get back to jersey two days later. Thank you Elijah for your expertise and if you’re ever in town stop by this location.

I was very disappointed. I purchased 2 single original donuts and paid almost $4. But the most disappointing part was that they were uncooked! I would have turned around and gone back to complaint but I had turned onto the highway. It will be a while before I try them again.
