I have been disappointed with my experiences at this location over and over both in the drive thru and inside. Things always seem to be incorrect or low quality! The wait even for the drive thru is terrible, I don’t think I’ve ever not had to pull ahead and wait at the drive thru. Every fountain drink I have tried here is weak and tastes like algae water with “soda flavor”. Will not visit this location again unfortunately. Employees don’t seem to care about quality or helping correct issues.

Thought we’d grab something really quick to go we were heading to the beach. Asked for a cheeseburger on toast only certain condiments wrong. Asked for a chicken sandwich on toast certain condiments wrong. Tots were old and pretty much crumbled. No napkins in the bag and my chocolate shake was so thick couldn’t drink it. This place should have been closed a long time ago. Don’t go here bad experience. This was the second time we’d tried it and both times horrible. Doss’s is right across the street they’re better.

So we heard that sonic had been getting better so we decided to give it a second try. So we walk in and there’s a big hefty guy sitting in the lobby came to take our order. The cook was outside smoking and overall the restaurant just looked bad. Food wasn’t so good hotdog buns are not fresh and it looked like it was just throwed together. We ordered online and went through the drive through, they forgot one of my burgers but we got it pretty fast, can’t really say much about the atmosphere since we went through the drive through but I ordered a sonic smasher and that thing was just straight SALT. Like if I was going to finish it I’d have to wash the salt out first. Bread didn’t help either, thought I narrowed it down to being the patties.

I bought the double Smashburger combo the burger was great. The drink was great. The fries suck so bad that I wouldn’t feed them to my dog. I’ve tried to call the restaurant several times to complain and this is the only way that Ireach anyone is on here.

This happened a week ago & I decided if I was still upset I was gonna leave a review. Idk what’s going on the last few months at this location but the service & food have not been great. Our carhop/drive thru person was Brian (kept the receipt). Now Brian if you are going to give someone attitude about a CHERRY LIMEADE. Do it out of customer earshot. “Well you gonna have to wait because we backed up ” after we said we’re just missing the cherrry limeade. Backed up? We were the first ones in the line in drive thru at this point. We had our food & ICE CREAM. Why does it take 10-15 min for a cherry limeade? I’ve worked fountain at sonic before they take less than 3 mins to make. To top in all off, my husbands drink had a tiny hole at the bottom, so half of his sprite filled up our cup holder! Oh & did I mention AFTER I drank my cherry limeade I waited 10 mins for (total order was 25 mins), there were STRAWBERRIES in it sadly after this experience we won’t be returning.

We were very excited about trying the new Smashed Burgers after seeing the commercials. The staff was busy, but they helped us promptly. One of the most important things for me as a customer is to see the food preparers wearing safety gloves and they were not. I would not have ordered had I observed this beforehand. Our order was correct and ready quickly, but the food was not great. The fries were good. The hot dog bun did not seem fresh. The smashed burgers were a nice size, but assembled messily, and the meat was hanging outside of the clamshell box. The overall taste was good, but the experience left something to be desired. The staff was working hard and very attentive and I wanted to make sure to share that positive part of our visit.

The Sonic Location in Kernersville is a good choice for a classic burger experience. My wife ordered online on her lunch break, but as with prior visits to this location the online choice to enter a kiosk number just doesn’t work. This is a minor gripe, and my wife instantly got her food by going inside, but why have the option if it is disabled. The food was hot and her slush drink was cold and refreshing. The last time we visited this location, my wife’s drink was extremely watered down, and stale, like it had been sitting in the container too long. All in all not a bad choice for a quick fast food or Sonic craving, and plenty of kiosk parking space.

Was there today. The managers name was Amy. She had taken a couples food out the door. Obviously the customer wasn’t happy. Came in the restaurant cussing. She politely told him he didn’t have to cuss and tried to apease him . This lady was running around trying to please everyone she could including him and nothing she did was good enough. People need more workers like that. She waited on us and I will definitely come back.

I love sonic but I’d never been to this one and I am extremely disappointed. My wife waited for 20 minutes in the drive through to get a footlong hotdog and a chicken tender kids meal. They forgot my son’s applesauce and his chicken tenders were horrible it was actually mostly breading and not much chicken and my hotdog my hotdog…. I diddnt get a hotdog I got chili cheese tator tots and I wanted that hotdog and of course I have tried calling and calling and no answer. I don’t get sonic very often and now I’ll get it alot less now cuz my wife won’t go back 2 this location
