The food was great, however I did not mention my shellfish allergy, and I believe my food touched shellfish because my lips swelled and I had hives in a few places (completely MY fault, but Ibhad chicken fajitas and this was a first time trying their food).
My only “complaint” is there was only 3 tsp size bites of the refried beans. For the cost of the meal I expected more from the sides (based off other restaurants of this style). However, I will add that they were very generous with the chicken fajita entree.

I was at the restaurant with a large group, including several young children. The staff was great accommodating our group getting seated quickly and orders taken. The menu is very extensive. I had the chicken fajita taco salad at about $15. Which was a fair price and the quality and taste were great. It was in a fried tortilla bowl with sour cream and guacamole. Very good. Everyone in our group liked their food, everything from basic to specialty. I highly recommend!

My wife and I had lunch at Gustavo’s Jan 31, 2026 at 1 pm. Our server Uriel was at the table immediately. Chips and salsa delivered right away by other staff. Uriel took our order. He was attentive, courteous, clean, quick and accurate. Restroom was cleanest I have seen in a restaurant. Meal arrived in less than 10 minutes. Hot, fresh and delicious! Service left a memorable impression on us! We have a new standard to measure against.

We chose Gustavo’s to cater our wedding since we love their food. Well that will never happen again and I don recommend them for catering. We were told they would stay during our reception and work the food to make sure it stayed filled and hot, well no one stayed. They forgot the sour cream so brought it later and said we wouldn’t be charged for it but never communicated with anyone where they put it, just told someone in passing they forgot it, so it wasn’t even used. We were not told they would bring containers back so went and got some and they showed up close to closing after we already took care of all the food. I messaged them and was in hopes they would make it right. They told me they would give me a gift card for $100 yesterday and I told them we wouldn’t be by to get it today. Well my wife got there and they told her they had idea what she was talking about. I sent her the screenshot to show her and they said she would need to come back at 5. We don’t live near their restaurant so that is completely out of the way. They seem to not communicate with their employees so that everyone is in the same page. Hopefully people in the future have a better experience.

We stopped in at Gustavo’s on our way back from the Kentucky Speedway. We initially wanted to go to the location close to River Road, Prospect. We decided to settle for the Crestwood location as we were tired and ready to get some food in our stomach’s and an adult beverage for my Bride. The staff were Johnny on the spot as usual. They kept my non-alcoholic beverage refilled frequently. The food was good and filling. No complaints at all. Very good dining experience and reasonably priced as well.

I had an amazing experience here! The fajitas were absolutely incredible—served sizzling hot, packed with flavor, and perfectly seasoned. The portions were generous, the tortillas fresh, and all the toppings were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic, flavorful Mexican food—especially the fajitas!

Service was extremely fast. Server came right away with warm chips and salsa. Our main dishes came out really quickly, felt like maybe 5-10 minutes at the most. Food was delicious. I got the San Lucas Fish Tacos (or whatever they were called) from their specialty/favorites page of the menu. Would highly recommend to others and I’ll definitely be back when in the area.
