I can not express the joy my daughter and I felt when we finally found an Asian buffet restaurant.
On top of locating Fortune Star, we were impressed by the service, taste of the food, and variety of food choices. Our server was very attentive and constantly cleared our plates and refilled our drinks.
We went during the late afternoon, so there are more food choices.
Prices are different, like most restaurants. There’s the lunch price and dinner. Very reasonable!
For sure, we will return.

the food was AWFUL. we went later in the day – 7pm ish. almost all the food was luke-warm to literally cold. most foods were dry, like they were sitting out all day. the egg drop soup had a thick, dried film overtop of it. any fresh fruit and veggies were visibly browning, bananas turning to brown mush. the “fresh sushi” looked like it had been out for days – avocado was brown mush, sauces dried in place. the jello even the damn jello was dry!

I go here all the time and absolutely love it. The host is all so sweet and nice! I always enjoy talking with her. The food is always delicious! Has something for everyone, and they have different stuff depending on the day of the week. My personal faves are the sesame balls, coconut shrimp, and the seafood biscuits!

After a long and adventurous day, we decided to make 1 last stop for the evening to the buffet. The staff was very friendly, and the variety was beyond words. I had my fill and great. If you go to a buffet in the Pittsburgh area, I would totally recommend this 1.

This had got to be the BEST buffet in Pittsburgh. I loved everything I tried and there are so many choices, I couldn’t try everything.
The sushi is top notch and the Mongolian grill has only the freshest food. The place is spotless, and the restrooms are as beautiful as the rest of the decor. I will definitely be back here, and would recommend this place to anyone who likes food.

So listen. All I wanted was some Boboa tea. Found this place across the street from CVS. I wnt in and was completely astonish . I gotta bring my friends here and try these egg pastries. Mimd-blowing delicious!!

Went there for lunch today and the food was excellent! There’s a large selection of Chinese food, seafood, sushi, and American food. They have a fruit, ice cream, create your own stir fry, and sushi bar. We had no wait, were greeted by a friendly waiter, and were welcomed back by a man specifically thanking people for stopping in. Everything was clean and our plates were quickly removed from the table after we finished each one. All of the food was hot and fresh! I’ll definitely stop back!

Bottom of the barrel buffet. Food tasted bad. Coconut shrimp made of chicken and taste like chalk. Half the food didn’t have correct labels. They need to visit fortune star in butter to learn a thing or two.

My first visit. The place is typical of a large cafeteria, but a little more dimly lit. I visited during lunch time. While not crowded, there were a fair number of dinners. The buffet appears to be popular with the 60+ crowd, and those with young children. They had a good selection, and the staff were very friendly.
