It’s been a long time since I visited the Yellow Rose. I visited during the late afternoon. I was seated immediately. I started browsing the menu and noticed they have “Senior” sections in the menu starting at 55 years old. I decided to order breakfast. It’s been a while since I had a sit down breakfast. I ordered a nice sampler with eggs, two sausage, two bacon, home fries and delicious multi grain toast. My waitress was super nice and upbeat. Very respectful and attentive. As I was eating I looked around. The diner definitely had a local establishment vibe to it. The waitress staff varied in age. It was nice and peaceful. I cannot stand a noisy environment when I am trying to eat. Though towards the end of my meal a guy decided this was a good place to conduct a long lengthy cellphone conversation, but he wasn’t too obnoxious. I normally dine with the wife and kids, so it was nice to see how reasonable the check was in the end. I think everything was reasonably priced no matter what you ordered. Overall it was a pleasant enjoyable and peaceful meal with hot off the grill meal. I would recommend this place. I can see parking being an issue if it were really busy.
Please don’t forget to tip generously. This staff poors their hearts and warm personality into their job. Excellent service deserves better than normal tips. The staff here takes the time to make the difference between just a normal transaction and a nice local vibe experience.

Traditional diner. Smaller than traditional Greek diners. lol It was exactly what we were in the mood for! Hot and delicious! Our server was awesome, sweet, efficient, funny, anf thoughtful! Of course, professional. Everyone else was nice as well! We opted to get traditional dinner pudding (IYKYN) and it was exactly what we were in the mood for and delicious! I can’t remember our server’s name, but she has black hair, blue eyes, and a genuinely fantastic personality. Wearing double braids on Tues, Dec 30. Def recommend! Sorry, no pix. We couldn’t wait to dig in!

Remember being a kid and being sent to your grandparents basement during the holidays with your cousins? Totally the vibe complete with stairway. Kinda strange collect of decor. Might be cooler if they changed the name to grandmas basement or something.

First time going to this diner . I was sceptic at first but once I seen and tasted the food I was very surprised. It’s really good . I had a steak with crab cakes and French onion soup. It was delicious. Will be going back !

Delicious food at great prices! Very homely feel and a lot of customers. I ws handed my bill after eating but wanted a slice of cake and some coffee, as well as two slices of pie for my family, so that felt a bit preemptive, but I get it. They’re busy. I’ll just wait for the server ^_^’
Edit: Been waiting 14 mins past this bill being placed and its not so crowded anymore. I’m not sure this is entirely correct for nobody to come over and check up if anything if wrong or if I need something? Could be cause I’m texting on my phone, but still

We come here weekly. If not for breakfast in the morning, then for turkey clubs at night. The food is delicious! It’s usually pretty busy, but I’ve only had to wait on holidays. Whenever my parents come to visit they request we come here. The staff is amazing, I’ve never had a bad experience here. Check it out!
