During our training, I stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The first time I had a torta and then the next day I had tacos. Both were excellent. The service was great and it’s always a packed house at lunchtime so get there a little bit early. Prices are extremely reasonable as well.

I was looking for some Mexican food in Coachella and found Jalisco, and it was a good experience!

From the moment I walked in, I noticed how much people were there! So i assumed it was going to be great!

The staff was friendly and attentive.

The food was really good. And met our expectations.

Definitely recommend!

I ordered birria tacos, and the tortillas tasted awful, like packaged tortillas with preservatives. The birria itself lacked flavor. We also ordered a refreshing drink that was supposedly pineapple, but it didn’t taste much like pineapple, and it wasn’t refreshing at all; it tasted like artificial flavoring with water and sugar. I couldn’t even drink it because it was so bad.

We enjoyed our meal very much. Wet Burrito was delicious. The salsa and hot sauce were good too. We wanted something more made from scratch and Jalisco delivered. Nice family service. Lots of locals dining so you know it is good.

Love this local gem! We drive out of our way to go here for amazing tacos. Pure and simple. This is not Americanized Mexican food dripping in tons of sauces and garnish. This is the real deal. Simple place where all the locals come. The servers are so friendly and nice. Service is quick. Best Al pastor tacos I’ve ever had!!! YUM

This has been one of my fav spots but idk if its the seasoned Chefs that are losing their touch or the new blood not picking up on the recipes that made Jalicos great place to eat. In my opinion not the same as years past reason for giving them 3 stars.

Tried the tostada, tacos, and my friend had the torta. Very good food. Loved my tostada, but it is definitely not date night food. So messy. But, as I said, very good.

Our old server from taco asado was there and we felt like home and worth the 40 minute drive from Palm Springs to Coachella. Best tripa tacos slight crunch yet tender. Salsa was fresh and had a kick to it without being overwhelming. So yummy and the beans were my 3 year Old’s favorite. My mom was happy with her lengua in salsa verde and she got her jumbo flour tortilla.

Once a favorite stop of mine for tacos, now a complete disappointment! Meat was dry and too much onions and cilantro piled on. The restaurant had surely seen better days. Cleanliness is no longer a top priority.
