Stopped by the Brown Derby and was able to bundle it with reserved ticket seating for Fantasmic! Highly recommend.

We were served by Said. He was very welcoming and knowledgeable. And started off the meal by explaining both food and beverage menus.

We ordered simple soda beverages with our meal – OJ and Sprite.

For the dining package, guests get an entree and dessert included. Thankfully, Said was able to a complete a small change for me which entailed ordering three apps and yarn having us pay extra if we needed to.

What a smart choice! I was able to try so many different things for my first time here, and they all took me on a flavour journey I have never experienced before! I was so pleasantly surprised by the flavour combinations of each of the dishes and everything was so delicious!

For dessert, I had to get the famous Grapefruit Cake. At first, it was very bitter from the grapefruit. But the more I ate it, the more pleasant it became – truly a flavour combination that surprised me. I pretty much picked my plate clean!

We have been eating through Disney for about 5 days now, and this was by far the BEST meal we have had yet. Ex pellet, and will definitely recommend to future patrons.

If you’re looking for the best restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a special occasion, Hollywood Brown Derby is it. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday here and it could not have been more perfect.

From the moment we checked in, the service was polished, warm, and genuinely attentive. Our waiter, Rad, was absolutely top notch. Professional, engaging, and incredibly thoughtful. He didn’t just serve dinner, he elevated the entire experience. He made our daughter feel celebrated the whole night, which as a parent means everything. When you’re at Disney for a birthday, you want it to feel magical. He delivered that.

The food was just as impressive. The flavors were refined but approachable. The famous Cobb Salad absolutely lives up to the hype, and the presentation across the board was beautiful. But I have to mention the cocktails. The gin mule was hands down one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Perfect balance, crisp, refreshing, and ideal after a full park day walking around Hollywood Studios.

The atmosphere inside is classic Old Hollywood glamour. Elegant without feeling stuffy. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, sit back, and actually enjoy a meal in the middle of the Disney energy. If you’re planning a birthday dinner, anniversary, or just want a higher end dining experience at Disney, this is the spot.

Five stars for the food. Five stars for the ambiance. Five stars for Rad making our daughter’s birthday unforgettable.

If you’re at Disney through Monday like we are, put Hollywood Brown Derby on your list. It’s worth it.

We made our reservation for the dinner package here with the VIP Fantasmic show seating. It included a drink, meal and dessert, any additions were extra, fair.
Our server was very friendly.
Our food was delicious except I really disliked the cheesecake dessert, I dismantled it to enjoy some of it and the cherries from the other dessert helped. All in all a great first experience.

I can only speak to the Jollywood Nights event version of this restaurant, but that event in particular was well worth it and quality priced.

$60/head after ordering the entire menu and multiples of some of the plates. Jazz covers of Christmas music and the Hamilton soundtrack played as we dined. All the staff was super friendly and took really good care of us.

The Hamachi Crudo and Pork Bao were favorites, totally delicious and didn’t seem in theme with a lot of what I normally get at Disney.

I hope I can come back and try this during regular hours

The Hollywood Brown Derby has a nostalgic charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back into old Hollywood. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting, and the service was attentive. My husband ordered the lamb shank, which he absolutely loved; it was tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

Unfortunately, my filet didn’t quite live up to expectations. While it was cooked properly, it arrived barely warm, which took away from the experience. The bread and butter were a highlight: warm, fresh, and delicious, and the dessert was good but not particularly memorable. The grapefruit cocktail was light and refreshing.

For the price point and reputation, I expected a bit more consistency and attention to temperature and presentation. Personally, I would not visit again.

1. My family and I enjoyed this restaurant at Disney’s Hollywood Studios when we visited on November 2, 2025. We felt the service and food were top notch. Highly recommended.
2. The reception team did an excellent job representing the Disney spirit and hospitality ideals. Please have someone point out these pictures to Callie, Alyssa, Tito, Kenzie, and Kaz – the folks in the pictures.
3. Is it possible to have one of the Disney cast reply to me, to let me know they got to see these pictures?
4. I commented to those Disney folks that my parents had gone to the original Brown Derby in the real Hollywood… a long time ago. So it was fun to relive the old-time atmosphere in this one.

Our party of four has a great time at this restaurant. Our server Sara was kind and patient, and made this a special visit.

We had the Shepherd’s Pie, and sides of Au Gratin Potato and Crispy Green Beans. The Shepherd’s Pie is vegan, and they were all quite good.

The restaurant theming is explained ed in many YouTube videos, and trying to cover it here will not do it justice. Go look those up. It will be worth it. The interior of this restaurant was distinctive and we enjoyed walking around and checking out all the details. Overall, we would recommend dinner at the Brown Derby, and we’d be happy to return.

Overpriced food. I ordered salmon for myself and my 2 year old.. paid 51$ for my meal and 17$ for kids meal and received exactly the same size piece of salmon. My husband ordered steak and received overcooked burnt dry meat.. and the 18% tip is already included regardless of the food quality and customer service provided.

We were lucky enough to get the last booking of the day and get the top table for our party of seven. The food was the same quality as always: exceptional

The service: the same. Special shout for the lady looking after the bar who witnessed our red wine accident, managed the clear up and had replacement in hand in a matter of seconds

Recommend, as always, the filet Mignon, this is a quality cut of meat

Always remember it’s 2 credits on the dining plan

Would we come back: Yes!
Can we come back: No, because we are back in UK now

The Seafood Fregola on the patio lounge was mind-blowing! I could swim in that crab-saffron cream broth. I definitely used bread to sop up every last bit! The service was excellent, as always! Highly recommend
