What beats a reasonably priced dinner by the water in a comfortable and friendly place?. NOTHING! Though we do not get out often this is one of our favorite places. The staff is friendly and the food is great. Take me back to my childhood when my family used to meet up at the one on kalamazoo. We’ve been coming to this location since it opened and we will keep coming back. They welcome everyone respectfully and with genuine smiles

I have been a fan of Sir Pizza pizza for a long time. The cubed pepperoni and ham give a unique delicious texture. I wouldn’t call it a true thin crust pizza but it’s on the thin side and a bit of crisp. The baked potato is another favorite menu item, it’s amazingly good. The old town location has curbside parking and a friendly staff. Modest seating but I’ve never had an issue.

Came in at lunch time and the staff was super friendly and inviting! They gave me their top recommendations and I went with the royal feast baked potato and a beer. Clean, friendly, inviting and great food and staff. Thanks for lunch guys!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sir Pizza – Old Town, and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the cozy wood-accented interior and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. I grabbed a seat by the window overlooking the river — the view alone is reason enough to come back. Watching fish jump while sipping on a cold drink made for an unexpectedly peaceful moment.

I ordered the Royal Feast Pizza, and now I understand why it’s such a community favorite — it was loaded with flavor, the toppings were perfectly balanced, and the crust had this unique biscuit-like texture that was both crumbly and satisfying. I also tried the Royal Feast Baked Potato, which was equally impressive — hearty, cheesy, and packed with delicious toppings.

What stood out even more was the staff. They were friendly, fast, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there, which created such a positive vibe. Whether you’re grabbing a casual lunch, meeting up with friends, or planning a surprise get-together, Sir Pizza delivers on all fronts — food, service, and atmosphere.

I’ve already decided to make this a regular spot. It’s not just a pizza place — it’s a local gem that truly feels like home.

Great pizza and toasted sub sandwiches. Got a grilled chicken bacon ranch sub and it was delicious! Best I’ve had in a long while. My husband got a small cheese pizza and he loved it! good airflow and fans and AC and a big picture window on the river. Great restaurant. They also have fresh juice (which we got) and full bar (which we didn’t since we had a long drive home).

First time trying their pizza. Both of the pizzas and the breadsticks were undercooked. The doughy cheesebread had a paper-thin layer of cheese which fell right off after the first bite. The pizza sauce tasted like tomato puree straight from the can. The toppings and cheese were good, but not enough to redeem the disappointing crust and sauce. Based on this experience, I would never choose Sir Pizza over any other pizza place in town.

Without a doubt the best (and most unique) pizza in Lansing. Their Old Town location has wonderful views of the river. Plenty of booze (and N/A) choices for drinks. The pizza can be a tad on the pricey side but it’s worth it. Incredible dough, tasty sauce, and toppings to the edge. Parking can be a little challenging during busier months but circle the block once or twice and you’ll get a spot.

I went late afternoon for lunch. It happened to be happy hour so I got a draft beer and an 8inch one topping pizza with a side of garlic bread for under $20. The interior is wood which I think is classy and no high top tables is nice. I sat by the window overlooking the river and could see fish jumping at times, great view to enjoy conversation from.

Service is great. Inside could be updated.

Food is okay. Pizza is good, but the salad was not fresh and dressing was not good. Definitely should move towards homemade dressing. Plastic containers are not good, dressing is not good. Salads could be made with fresher ingredients.

Haven’t been in here in years, was very happy with the pizza I received. They still have the set up for the live band inside, not sure when they have performances. Very spacious, so you don’t feel like you are crammed in with the other diners. All of the ladies working were very nice too.
