We love Salsa Tex-Mex in Plano. We have been coming here for years and atria only disappointed when we get her late and have to wait! A quick trip to the bar before the end of happy hour fixes that problem!

This was recommended to us by a family member, and we enjoyed our visit. The service was good, and they provided two types of salsa along with a warm bean dip to go with the chips. The food was delicious and had large portion sizes. We would definitely come back!

Very good food and fine service. The variety of salsas is awesome!! And I love the thin, crispy tortilla chips. Lots of choices on the kids menu. It’s a Saturday night so they were very busy but we were seated quickly. The noise level is high but we sat in the corner so it was better. It’s crowded with lots of tables, I get the need to accommodate lots of costumers but it makes for a lot of noise. Overall we enjoyed it and probably will return.

It’s a tex-mex with a festive atmosphere. There was a birthday party going on and the waiters sang to them a song. Our food was good, but we especially enjoyed the free chips and salsa –red, green, and beans! We were hungry when we arrived so having the warm thin chips and salsa hit the spot.

My friend and I went there this past Sat for late lunch/early dinner. Ordered the wife queso with some tortillas! It was the best white queso I ever had! We order steak nachos to split. Wow! Lots of steak and great nachos. We split them and still had several left over. Server was very polite and helpful.

This is our go-to Sunday place, excellent margaritas! Chips and various dips included (verde avocado, black bean and traditional ted salsa) with the right amount of heat. Priced well for the quality and taste, the bartender (Jessica) is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is simple and they play sports on the Tele. We always prefer to sit at the bar, laid back and and slightly homey.

I went to salsas for my friend’s birthday yesterday. Although an odd place to celebrate one’s birthday I went along with his mischievous plan. It was my first time ever going to this restaurant so I decided to outsource help from a friend about what I should order.
Before that I had the chips and salsa which were provided and absolutely mauled them.
Then for my main course I had the sour cream enchiladas. When I first received the dish I scoffed to myself as I was ready to hate on it but upon sinking my teeth into this dish I suddenly had finished the meal in mere minutes. When someone spoke to me I pretended to not hear it so I could continue eating. The only complaints I have is that it could use a spicy sauce and more jalapeños. The close proximity to where I got my perm also helps. Would go again!

I had the chicken and steak fajitas it was well cooked. The chips and salsa varieties were delicious. The service was excellent. Definitely planning to visit again! Highly recommend this place!

As always, great food– potentially needs a revamp on staffing one person behind the bar….the server was nice but she needed help.
Dirty dishes scattered at the bar, dirty dishes stacked behind the bar, drinks took 10 minutes to get…it was obviously not the servers fault! She had a wrapped bar and one person for everything. We would of spent more on drinking if there were more opportunities available. We have never been to Salsa where there is an open table or bar–so management knows that it is always busy– staff appropriately!
