The spaghetti probably only comprised of few strand of noodles per dish, and the Lechero was so watered down it almost tasted like milk flavored water.
But, it is incredibly budget-friendly here, and the only reason I didn’t give it one-star. (Cash only) so you are getting what you are paying for. Just don’t have high expectations.

No wonder this restaurant appears to be in the list of best in Puebla. Also you can tell a restaurant is good when is not full of tourists and instead locals are there. The service was impeccable, very kind, it also helped so much for a tourist that the menu was full of images so it made it easier to order. Everything we had was delicious, the marimba (rack of ribs) with mole poblano was finger licking good.
Probably not handicap friendly since the washrooms are upstairs, but the decor was great for pictures. I think it becomes a bar at night, lunch service was extremely quick. Will come back next time.

Love this restaurant! I’m here for a week for business and I’ve eaten here twice in 4 days because its so delicious. Adrian on the wait staff made me feel welcome and helped me with the huge amount of menu items, I had chiliquiles for dinner delicious next time I had mole poblano. Yummy! Best chicken I’ve eaten in Mexico don’t miss this place, its a former palace and has loads of ambiance, Dolores keeps it super clean, thank you for the photo!

I visited this in a jam-packed Sunday afternoon. Simple yet tasty food was served surprisingly soon. A wide assortment of peppers, salsas and seasonings (including parmesan gratin) will accompany whatever food you order. For its low price, you get a good bang for your buck

Very good is the menu, that has a photo of each dish, so even without Spanish you know what you’ll get!
We had each a drink, the enchiladas tres moles and a red pozole. While the enchiladas were good, especially with the green mole, the soup was disappointing. We got a bread with it, that wasn’t great, but also tacos, that were decent. The total price was below 300$, so quite affordable.
We didn’t like, that all the cutlery was packed in plastic. It seemed like a big waste.

Big restaurant in a traditional Spanish home. Prices are VERY good and food is great! Make sure you get a seat on the upper level if you can or at least have a visit upstairs to see the beautiful sunroof! I ordered the chamorro with traditional mole poblano. Delicious! Every visitor to Puebla should make a stop here if they can!
