Misty was great. She put up with a lot of noisy and difficult patrons at our table. What a fiasco.

The chips and salsa are great and they have Mexican coke which is a treat. Several members of our party had margaritas and they had a nice beer selection.

The menu has lots of options and includes a couple of definite traditional Mexican dishes, like Lengua En Salsa Verde. A real treat.

Like most Mexican places they give you too much to eat but hey you can’t stop till it is gone.

Fantastic restaurant, it was clean and nicely themed inside, we were made very welcome and our server Luz was extremely accommodating.

The food was awesome. My burrito was absolutely massive and yummy. The tortilla chips and salsa were really very nice also.

I had a frozen raspberry margarita which was gorgeous. If I had a second stomach I would have tried a lot more. I can’t wait to come back! Recommended!

This is the spot, local and delicious every time. The dining room can accommodate family gatherings so we always come here. You must have the queso it’s the best!! My favorite is the fajita burrito and I save half for lunch so you get two meals out of one. (just get no lettuce)

I had the 2 tacos w/tostada and my bestie had 2 tacos w/tamale and rice and beans. When we arrived around 6:30 pm, and we weren’t sure they were open. We were glad we pulled in and went in.
We were the only 2 in the restaurant when we arrived. Of course the service was excellent. Several people came in after we ordered. We enjoyed the atmosphere and they were getting ready to decorate for the holidays. Everyone was friendly and I would recommend EL Pueblo to anyone. By the way, the guacamole is fresh and tasty and chips were warm.

It was Friday and the time was 1pm. Because there was not a crowd, we were seated immediately. Our drink order was taken and Martha, the waitress, was very prompt. We ordered a chicken taco salad, chicken burrito, and a chicken chimichanga – all lunch specials. The meat was very flavourful and serving was perfect! Martha, the waitress was nice and accommodating. The frozen peach and mango margaritas were perfect!

The only reason I took off one star is because one of the workers bought her 5-6 year old daughter and she was running around, past the tables, falling on the floor as we attempted to eat in peace. We will return with hopes of having another great experience.

This place is my go to, and I live in Portage. Their fajitas are always so juicy, and delicious. I used to be a manzanita girl but their fajitas were dry the last 3 times I gave them a chance. This place has never disappointed me. It is a bit expensive, but everything is nowadays. Customer service has always been good and good delicious. I usually get fajitas and burrito frito. Would recommend this if you’re looking for Mexican food and are local. Their tamales are overpriced by the single-though, soI’d suggest buying a dozen for $18.

Not a very good meal. Started off with chips and salsa which was decent. Nothing wowing. Ordered queso fundido as an appetizer. This was better. Hot and cheesy. We had the mixed fajitas meal. Never had it so bland before. Needed seasoned bad. Steak was a little tough. Veggies did not seem fresh at all, and some of them you could tell was starting to turn. The atmosphere was beautiful. Our waitress was mediocre. They were not busy but she rarely walked by to make sure we were doing ok. They even forgot the extra or of taco de lingua (beef tongue). We had to ask for it. I had high Hopes for a place that had 4.5 stars. I think it was highly overactive and wouldn’t go here again.
