My new favorite Pakistani Buffet, food was fresh and delicious. They have a large variety of authentic food and desserts. Dining area was nice, quiet and comfortable. The waiters cleaned the tables quickly and regularly provided beverages even before we asked. Will definitely me returning here soon. Thank you!

I’ve been trying Pakistani restaurants around NJ for 22 years, and nothing beats Shahnawaz. Their buffet is huge, and every dish has its own amazing flavor—it honestly reminds me of being back in Pakistan. If you’re craving real desi food, this is the spot!

The Guide
Today we ended up in Edison, NJ and lunch at Shahnawaz Buffet. There is plenty of parking in the back. The buffet features a wide verity of freshly prepared and authentic dishes, spanning appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Highlights included halwa puri and haleem, among many others. The service was notably attentive, with plates promptly cleared and drinks quickly served. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that I highly recommend.

Excellent Pakistani food so far I have ever had. Amazing items and so many options to choose. 100% worth the price. I live an hour far from ShahNewaz. But at least 1 time in a month I try to come here to enjoy their food! Big fan

Do you know the food is good when it’s full of Indian people! Literally 20 trays of hot food not as much vegetarian as I would expect , like there was no vegetarian soup option either time I was there. And there’s also three tables of desserts. Unfortunately, we do not eat lamb or chicken. There was lots of options and there was even a beef option on the buffet.
