Nice dinner closed at 2 so we made it in time, not what I expected for an (amish )place, the bread and desserts where freshly made, i had chicken stripe, would have been better if it weren’t the normal frozen run of mill, fries were good, my date said the jalapeño bread was tasty. Good large family place.

Amazing place. It’s clean, nicely designed, and good food. Staff was super nice. They were packed but we still got in and got our food quickly. My only complaint is it took a while to pay and get out of there.

First time stopping by. I’ve had a local telling me about this place for almost 3 years. I had the time today to stop in. I ordered the 1/3 lbs cheese burger with avocado and a side of fries. The onions tomatoes and lettuce were all fresh. The burger was tasty. For dessert I tried a piece of fresh made peach pie. You definitely need to try this. If you are swinging through Garnett or just want to take a drive, stop in and give them a try.

I had the grilled chicken sandwich. It was OK, nothing special. Also had the dinner salad. The dinner salad was small and mostly shredded cheese. The bill with tip was twenty dollars. Way too much for the very small amount of food I was served. Also the seats are very uncomfortable.

This was hands down the best restaurant breakfast I’ve had in years! My wife’s family is from the south, so the traditional home cooked breakfast is a must. This place reminds me of that perfect down home breakfast. The food is high quality, the portions are just right, and the service is fantastic. Highly recommend!!

We were there for a late breakfast with a large group on a Saturday morning. There was no waiting, tables were ready for us. There is a breakfast bar available, but the two of us ordered from the menu. The waitress served our coffee and kept it topped off. We both ordered chicken fried steak, over easy eggs with home fries. Our friend ordered a Denver omelette. We waited 20 minutes, but the food arrived hot from the kitchen.
Servings were substantial, eggs were cooked perfectly, potatoes had good flavor.

The buffet was very small for the price. I had small kids and it worked for them, but I still paid a hefty price for them because they don’t have a kids menu. But overall it was still a great time. Next time we’ll just go for lunch though. I did let my grandkids order extras, like snowman hot cocoa, smoothies, cinnamon rolls, so that is why the total is $20 a person. Otherwise it would have just a little over $10 for them.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent. They don’t serve breakfast after 11:00am. The coffee was a lightly dark roast, but I liked it even though I dislike dark roast. Some of the waitress wore Amish bonnets. It was relatively quiet for a busy restaurant. Thankfully I’m pescetarian, if I were vegetarian it would be a challenge to find something on the lunch menu. I got the boom boom shrimp and loved it.

Great local find on our way to Oklahoma. Stopped in around lunchtime on a Thursday. Party of 6 seated quickly. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Great home cooking and comfort food dishes. Good deserts. Fresh bread, deserts and pastries for sale to go. There is also a Coffee shop.

We drove an hour south of Olathe to have lunch here Saturday. The food was good (they don’t use much seasoning, so you’ll have to salt your fries). The waitress was fantastic. The restaurant is very clean.
