Thank you Michelle, first time here and felt welcome. Sometimes servers see a young couple and assume a bad tip might be coming. This wasn’t the case tonight. Amazing food and better service. Will be back. Best fish tacos we’ve ever had! New favorite.

My husband and I went here yesterday for our 10 year anniversary. We were greeted by a lovely host but but our server (Michael R) was not friendly. He barely spent any time speaking with us, was very curt and acted as if weren’t worth his time. My husband and I spent $150 and expected better service.
The food was good however my steak was overcooked and tough, I had the new York strip. My husband had the rib eye, his was cooked perfectly.
I am not sure if we would go back, we were told the food was amazing here and was highly recommended. Maybe it is worth another try with a different server on a different night, last night they seemed to have a large party and were very busy.

8/13/25 Wonderful birthday dinner for my wife, great atmosphere we sat up front. Piano music was spectacular perfect sound mix of voice and piano neither overpowered the other very relaxing atmosphere. The entree food was perfect, the NY strip was cooked to a perfect medium and the shrimp and grits were creamy and flavorful with very large shrimp. The calamari app was disappointing however, limp and greasy. No feeling of being rushed either we were there 2 hours. It is pricey but the quality is high, perfect place for a special celebration.

The food is delicious and the service was great. The piano music was perfect because I knew the majority of songs he played, newer music. The food and alcohol selections are more than above average. It is pricey but we’ll worth it!

Overall, from a food only perspective, I am disappointed. For this price point, you expect the food to be great. Great preparation, great quality and great taste, but I think they missed the mark quite a bit.
The steak was undercooked, and the scallops, too. The filet meatballs were average at best. I think the quality of the food is good, but they did not cook it well.
I also think they are hiding the lack of seasoning with the sauces included on all their dishes. It is like the food would be bland, if not for the sauce, which is unfortunate.
That being said, because it is a local restaurant, we are going to give it another chance, but this time for happy hour. I think the price point for happy hour is appropriate for the food served.
Nothing they can do about the noise from the cars going by and the service was good, until the end, when it took too long to get the check and get refills of our water. The waiter kind of disappeared.
Unfortunately, overall, I cannot recommend Djon’s for dinner, hopefully happy hour will be better.

The service was very good. We were in the mood for surf and turf so everyone at our table got lobster and filets.i liked the quieter back area away from the piano player so I could talk to our friends and catch up. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be back soon.

I’m usually a skeptic when it comes to the dual dish; more often than not, one element shines while the other disappoints. But tonight was different. The lobster was fresh and flavorful, and the steak practically melted in your mouth.
Our evening was made even better by our incredible server, Nicole. She was an absolute delight—fun, knowledgeable, and wonderfully animated. Her energy made the night feel even more special, and her service was flawless from start to finish. Nicole’s warm personality and expert recommendations turned a great meal into an unforgettable dining experience.
We ended the evening with one of my childhood favorites: chocolate mousse. It was every bit as decadent as I remembered—so, so good.

Ocean Rain
We had dinner here tonight for my husband’s birthday and we received excellent service from our waiter, sorry we couldn’t remember his name but he does real estate as a 2nd job. He provided us with excellent service. The food was delicious. I love that this restaurant was created out of an older historical home. It’s vary nice inside and i love the ambiance of the front porch area. This restaurant is located in the same parking area as the pier which has beautiful water views.
