My first time at Bimbo’s (not to be confused with Bilbo’s).
The menu is small and the food felt fresh. Must try at least once.

I was walking by here talking to my Mom on the phone and was telling her how cool I thought the building looked and my Mom lost her mind because she used to come here in the 70s and it was her favorite place in town. There’s a good reason this place has been open since 1959 the pizza was excellent. Loaded up with great toppings and the crust was unique and really really good. Ive had pizza all over the country and haven’t had crust like this, I think this was one of the best pizzas Ive ever had. This is how pizza should be 10/10 . The staff was particularly friendly as well! I also thought the price’s were less then expected and the pizza was a great deal.

I was introduced to Bimbo’s Pizza through Goldbelly. I use Goldbelly often to experience foods from across the country, and I’ve enjoyed trying pizzas from Chicago, New York, and beyond. Of them all Bimbo’s is my favorite thin-crust pizza.
It ships overnight on dry ice, is packaged perfectly so it always arrives frozen, and delivers a flavor that’s simple yet amazing. It’s the kind of pizza I’ll order again and again. Looking at photos from those who’ve dined in, I can see the in house version has the same irresistible appeal proving it cooks up beautifully at home too.

Another awful experience at Bimbos. This time Allison made sure I didn’t enjoy my meal. Where to begin? I have been to bimbos probably once a year since 2017 and every single time I come to bimbos it is a bad experience. Every single time I walk through that door I pick up a negative vibe. The only reason I have returned to this restaurant is because my husband loves this restaurant. It is nostalgia for him. Well that was up until Sunday. While we were at the restaurant on Sunday Allison was our server. Allison made sure that we did not enjoy your experience that day. We ordered cheese bread for an appetizer. I watched Allison clean other tables and serve other tables before she brought the cheese bread to our table. The cheese bread was burnt. Then two minutes later she brought the rest of the food. An appetizer by definition should be served at least five minutes prior to the main meal. Then throughout the meal she made no effort to check in with us to see if we needed anything. Allison could not be bothered with refilling drinks. I ordered a veggie pizza. The outer rim of my veggie pizza was burnt. My daughter ordered a cheese pizza. Her pizza was burnt. My husband ordered a sausage pizza. Amazingly his pizza was not burnt. My child refused to eat the cheese pizza we paid for because it was burnt. That was frustrating to receive burnt food and no apology. Allison then escalated her poor behavior when she asked if we wanted boxes to go and we said yes. That was a horrible mistake. Allison brings the boxes to the table and drops them on the pizza……that we were eating. I am unsure why Allison thought that behavior was acceptable but hey maybe that’s the bimbos way. The icing on the cake during our time dining here was when a family of nine came in and Allison rolled her eyes puffed out and exhausted sigh and took her sweet time serving this family. It definitely came across like Allison had a problem with serving a large family. It made me feel like if I were to have a birthday party I would not come to bimbos because employees like Allison would work to make sure that I didn’t enjoy my time at bimbos. I know Allison did this because I set up my table and watched her do it. My husband went to pay and said that was the only time Allison was nice was during check out. Hope this helps other steer clear of bad service in today’s economy.

We had heard amazing things about this place so we day tripped down to Kalamazoo with aunt Edna and the woody wagon.
While it was good, and the service and restaurant were great, I thought it was just ok.
Don’t get me wrong, far better than any fast food pizza joint, anywhere. Just not quite up to what I expected and compared to some other pizza places we have tried. I did very much like the crispy thin crust and it had plenty of toppings (I had a meat lovers and wife had Hawaiian)

We’ve been coming here for years. The food, atmosphere, and service are all great. We usually purchase some take-n-bakes to take with us to eat another day. Be sure to also get some maple syrup and a t-shirt while you’re there!

Bimbo’s Pizza is awesome. The tiny pizza slices are the best — perfect if you want to try a bunch or just snack without committing to huge pieces. Super solid local pizza spot and definitely one of those places you keep coming back to.

Classic Midwest pizza parlor in downtown Kalamazoo. My dad has been eating here since before I was born. I on the other hand have never been a fan. I grew up liking and eventually working at LC, so my tastes were iffy at best. And maybe now cause we only get what he wants for toppings, pepperoni and fresh mushrooms. Forever the odd ball, because it’s usually packed and it’s been here for decades. We always get pickup as well. Maybe I should actually order something for myself for once, but I only associate it with him. Don’t be like me and go enjoy it.
