Great food and a lovely atmosphere. We had a really enjoyable time here. The service was a bit slow and a little disorganized—they brought out our dishes at different times even though we were just two people, which felt a bit odd. Still, the staff were friendly and the food was worth the wait.

We had the soup, salad, and fries—the fries were especially delicious, crispy and full of flavor. The salad we were told is medium spicy but it was really spicy—beware! There’s also a Thai tea on the menu that was really good, a nice surprise. The outdoor seating area is very pleasant, cozy and welcoming, and the playlist of 90s hits added a fun and nostalgic vibe. It does get quite full, so it’s best to come early if you want a good spot.

The only downside is that they only accept cash, which is a bit inconvenient. But otherwise, it’s a great place and I’d definitely recommend it and return.

Very basic pad thai. The sauce was kind of flavorless and was lacking depth- at least the portion was well sized. The service could have also been friendlier…

We got the cosmic fries, pork basil rice with egg and the tom yam khao soi. The rice felt slightly overcooked but the serving portion of minced meat and rice was generous; it was also spicy enough for our Asian tastebuds. The tom yam soup was less spicy and more on the sour side, with a strong coconut milk aroma. The noodles got soggy quickly so you got to eat quick! The fries was crispy, hot and addictive; great spices! The lady who attended to us was also friendly and even introduced us to the bottled beers they had. Cosy and nice place!

Mamamon’s one of those places you keep hearing about. Locals talk it up. A tiny spot with real charm, the kind of place you want to like before you’ve even sat down.

Service was friendly, easygoing, but really slow. But you let it slide, because the vibe’s good and, when the food finally lands, it delivers.

The fries? Great. Crispy, golden, dangerously addictive, the kind you keep reaching for without thinking. The Pad Thai was a pleasant surprise. Balanced, bright, with shrimp cooked just right, tender, no rubbery chew, which happens more often than it should.

Now the chicken wings… texturally, a masterpiece. That crispy skin you can hear across the table. Flavor-wise? Not totally my thing, but my friend went absolutely feral for them. So maybe it’s me.

Overall, great food, good energy, a little slow on the draw, but worth the wait. A place that earns its reputation, mostly.

Order: Chives cake, Glass noodle salad with pork, Jasmine rice

Pay: €24

Remarks: Chives cake is really nice. Crispy and flavorful with the sweet sour soy sauce as based. The glass noodle salad is a bit on the salty side for me, I expect there’s a mix of sweetness and freshness from the dressing. I mixed the sauce from chives cake to the glass noodle salad for that “fresh kick” and it worked out. And glass noodle salad are lacking of the vegie itself, more of a glass noodle with mince pork only.

Service is nice. Atmosphere and setting is very nice too. Cozy and comfortable. Sat outside on Vienna warm day. Best!

This place deserves a good reputation for good Thai food, but service is really lacking. I had made a reservation for Saturday night dinner which we were told got “lost in the system” but luckily we were still able to be seated. We ordered two appetizers that came 15 minutes apart, and our 2 mains were served 20 minutes apart, such that we didn’t fully eat together to avoid eating a cold meal. Flavor was delicious and staff were kind, but the service is too overwhelmed for the volume of business they get. Reservations were only available by phone which is a shame and the shop is cash only. Overall, good food (great pork belly appetizer) but the lack of enough service and modernity really put a damper on our evening. Not totally the staff’s fault, but still a shame.

Nice unpretentious rather bohemian style place. Friendly service. Food is not as flavourfull as you might know from Thailand.
