Beautiful service from the minute we walked up to the doors. Greeted at the door, no reservation, sat at a lovely intimate table for two. We had tuna tartar, sea bass with capers and grouper with mushrooms and onions. Delicious. Dress up as this is a more formal fine dining experience. We found very high value for the quality of the service and food.

Enjoyable dinner though I was not aware of the attire when I made reservation online and thus need to sit outdoor for unique experience. Nice wine selection.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. I made an online reservation, though it wasn’t really necessary as the restaurant had plenty of space. The venue itself is quite grand, set in its own standalone building. When I arrived around 7:00 p.m. on a Saturday, there were only a few tables seated on the main floor and a handful in the back. As I was leaving, I noticed a large party heading up to the second floor, but overall it felt surprisingly quiet for a Saturday evening.
Service was very good overall. The only slightly awkward moment was that there seemed to be seven or eight servers on the floor given the number of guests, and at times they were all standing together chatting near the center of the restaurant. Not a major issue, just a bit noticeable.
The food, however, was excellent. I ordered two dishes. The first was one of the house specialties: a hot plate with squid, shrimp, and octopus. It was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. The bread was also surprisingly good, especially when dipped into the sauce from this dish. Honestly, it was probably the best octopus I’ve had on this trip so far.
For my main, I came specifically to try the crab after seeing photos online. It is on the pricier side at $76, but absolutely worth it. The portion was generous, the flavor was excellent, and you can clearly tell a lot of labor goes into extracting all that crab meat.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant, even for dining solo. My total came to about $120 before tip, and it was money well spent.

We were recommended by one of our Uber drivers who was a foodie. Food was good though our expectations may have been driven too high. The scallops and octopus was really excellent. We thought the portions of the platter are a bit smaller than expected except for the tiger shrimps. We didn’t enjoy the veal as much as we expected it to be more tender but perhaps that’s how it is suppose to taste.
I definitely should have drank more beer than water now knowing the price difference lol.
Service was very good and time was taken to help us with the menu.

Absolutely delicious. The mixed seafood and bean soup were spectacular. I’ll be back for sure. I’ll wear nicer clothes next time

A pleasant surprise, a beautiful restaurant I had the Seabass, which was delicious with mushrooms and onions. We also had the tuna tartare which was delicious and the paella, which we also enjoyed the service was good. The dessert was good. I would highly recommend it if you’re in the area, we were staying at a hotel about six minute walk from the restaurant which made it easy for us to get to. Looks like they have indoor outdoor eating and also valet parking.

Even though we were not really dressed appropriately for this venue (shorts and T-shirts – we didn’t realize this was a high end restaurant), the staff treated us with great respect. We were seated and served immediately. The food was absolutely divine. We started with a wonderful sea bass ceviche. For entrees, I had the sea bass with mushrooms and onions, and my spouse had the octopus with garlic. Both dishes were delectable. I had the key lime pie for dessert, and it was also good, but I don’t think it was made in-house. Overall, the meal was really good. We hope to go back during our stay in Panama and try some other dishes from their very large and diverse menu.

This place has been an institution in Panama since 1965. Seafood is their specialty. Visited several times over the years and always consistent. Fine dining, white table clothes with a great wine list. Highly recommend you visit while in town.
