A great place to eat! We got the clear soup, Hibachi fried rice, chicken lo mein, gyoza dumplings, spring rolls and 2 sodas. For 2 of use it was a total of $52. The clear soup will soothe your soul. It is so delicious and the chicken lo mein is packed full of veggies and tons of chicken. I honestly can’t find a single negative thing. We had the pleasure of Fara being our waitress and she was wonderful. Very personable and funny. She gave us great service and wonderful suggestions. If you want delicious Asian American it is a must try. I forgot to take a picture at the beginning because I was so excited for my clear soup but I got one mid way through eating

The sushi quality is better than I’ve seen in Bloomington (high standards from NYC, Boston, Seattle, and LA)). My server (Robin) needs to know when to leave someone alone. The ambience leaves something to be desired.

I always order pick up from Asuka to take home (which is swift and easy). Everyone is always so welcoming and kind when I walk in (no matter which staff I interact with). They make you feel right at home. The food never disappoints. Always so tender and made so well. And when packaged for pick up, they set you up perfectly with utensils and sauces in a cute takeout bag. I’m always raving about Asuka to friends! Definitely one of my favorite spots in Bloomington!
