Me and my family got there and we were seated immediately. The server was super nice and gave us menus. He got everything exactly right and checked on us multiple times and was super nice and the food was great. Just saying I think that the food comes extra big so be prepared for a lot of really good food. The decorations are amazing and vibrant. I thought the cacti were really cool.The wait for our food was maybe 5 minutes for a group of 4 people. I totally recommend if you want a dinner with kids and a medium sized group.

Carlos Cantina in Iron Mountain is a great Mexican restaurant. The food is great and the portions are very large and could easily be shared. The fajitas were really good and the flour tortillas were awesome. I would definitely visit again.

We (my family of 8) come here from time to time and LOVE IT! We went on New Year’s Eve knowing it would be busy but Carlos Cantina did not disappoint!!! We had the BEST food, (huge entrees, appetizers and service!!!! All of the food was super fresh and delicious!!!!! Great table service and such a lovely night! Total for the dinner $89 plus tip!!

Celebrated my son birthday and as always the food and atmosphere was too notch. Server was fun and pleasant. Never disappointed when we go there. It’s a very popular place and they don’t take reservations, so you may have a wait time but it’s never been long.

We were cruising through town and only seeing a bunch of fast food options. Saw this down a side street and decided to stop. Hubby enjoyed his Margarita flight, and I my Diet Coke. The lunch version of chicken fajitas was delicious, and hubby enjoyed his Queso Barria tacos. If we pass this way again, we will stop!

Carlos cantina was a much needed sit down restaurant here. Their food always comes out hot and is enjoyable. The family that owns this restaurant is very kind and accommodating if something is not up to your expectations! The complimentary salsa and chips pair great with a margarita while waiting for your freshly made plate.

Unexpectedly delicious authentic Mexican food. We had the carnitas tacos on a “Taco Tuesday,” and they did not disappoint. They were 1/2 price and worth the full price plus plus. The mango margarita hit the spot. Service was fast, attentive, and accommodating. What a pleasure!

Horrible service. Last time we were there, we were highly disappointed with the wait time, cleanliness, food errors, etc. Daniel(owner) was very helpful and quick to remedy the situation. We were happy with his responsiveness so we did stay. My food however was ice cold. I never did leave a review regarding that visit. Today was worse. Much worse. We walked in at a dead time, hardly any customers inside. We were seated almost immediately. We got chips and salsa. No beverages offered. No orders taken. We walked in at 1:37PM and we walked out and left at 2:16PM. That is 39 minutes seated with zero service or interaction with staff in that entire time except having chips and salsa, which, wasn’t even satisfying without beverages. No orders taken. Countless staff were just standing around near bar area. Others sat and served customers that came in long after us. Highly disappointed today so we are now at another restaurant giving them business instead.
