I arrived in the drive thru at 11:05 pm. I sat a few minutes in the drive thru and finally asked if they were open. A guy answered “yes, one moment please”. At 11:15 a girl came on the speaker and asked what did I want to order. I asked if there was anything fresh because I did not want old chicken. She said we are closing soon and want to known if anything is fresh. She said what do you want and we will make it. Are asked are you sure? She said what do you want. I ordered a 8 piece spicy meal and a 12 piece wing combo. She said it would be 12 minutes for fresh chicken.

I waited then got home and was so disappointed! First the chicken was not made fresh it was the oldest chicken ever. The wings were on the burnt side and way over seasoned to the point they were un edible! I wasted 42 plus on food no one in my house could eat.

I gave extra stars for service because while waiting for my food I needed to go to the bathroom and the lady was kind enough to open the door to use the bathroom.

I would have preferred if they had just been honest with me and tell me we are not going to make fresh food. I would have not spent money on food no one can eat.

Never in my life have I had such horrible service. My bacon and chicken sandwich had a chicken wing on it. The food was cold. They had no change for paying in cash and asked to keep the change. My friends order had just 3 peices of chicken and she had no sides that she ordered. My other friends food was wrong and cold. There was toilet bowl cleaner on the counter by register with a cleaning bucket. The lady was rude and acted like she didnt have a clue what was going on. I will never eat at pop eyes chicken again in my life. What a disgusting experience. I will be calling corporate and telling them and no I dont want your damn food to replace whats happen.

I ordered ahead and still had to wait 15 minutes. The tenders were the only thing that was good. The red beans and rice had more rice and almost no beans. They forgot my biscuits. My boneless chicken was so small and drowning in oil. I had to contact the company because I went in to complain about the size of the boneless chicken and they acted unconcerned. I didn’t check through my whole order because then I would have noticed that they forgot my biscuits when I went in to get the honey and utensils that were missing in my bag. There’s never a time that my food is ready when I order. There’s always more cars resorting for food at the front of the building than cars in the drive thru.

About three years ago, we went to the Popeyes on Glenn in Peoria, Illinois. And at least three times we had the worst service. Not only that, the manager was very nasty and rude to us. So we quit going over there. Today, we decided to take a chance and go there because we do love Popeyes food! While in the drive-through I asked for Three pieces of chicken and beans and rice. I had to repeat my order several times. When I got to the window, my beans and rice was not in the bag. I questioned that and said hey where’s my beans and rice. And the lady at the window said you did not ask for beans and rice. And I said yes At least three times. And she said no, you did not. And I said I did can I get that. She said no you did not ask for that. You would have to go back around and re-order. The service here has been this way for years and it’s really sad! Will not go again

HORRIBLE SERVICE
Everything is out, out of napkins, out of tea, out of coleslaw. The female staff—she was horribly crazy, let us repeat our names three times with attitude.

If you can’t understand the name then look for order number, I think it’s a basic critical thinking you should have, unless there’s no training/thinking at all.

Horrible packaging, did you just throw my food in the bag randomly? I’m not sure if this food has any splits in it.

Don’t come, run away thanks. There’s better branch on east Peoria (we just made a wrong decision to come here since it was closer, but no more BYEEEEEEEEE)

Chicken was old and the mashed potato to. And not to mention we waited 32 min on the food. They did refund the chicken and mashed potato. But the cole slaw and biscuits were great.

The service at this location was horrible. First for service, it was the worst, as our server was more interested in his phone than the people in line. When I finally got to order I was told this location does not give change so I had to use my card. When I ordered I asked for my receipt and he said that the one that printed out was his.

As for the food it was extremely dried out and old. When I got to my table I seen he left out part of my order. The food I got was as dry as an old mummy and far from edible.

For atmosphere, the inside was dirty, the benches were filled with water and the place was disgusting.

I have never left a review anywhere but the service was so terrible here I have to. The woman taking our order was so rude and had an attitude the whole time she was taking our order making little side comments for no reason. While we were waiting we saw her vape behind the counter. We were waiting for 30 minutes and went up and whole time they forgot about the order. And when we finally got it, it was wrong. The other staff didn’t have the same attitude but still weren’t very attentive to the customers at all. We watched three other customers web ignored for several minutes while employees conversed with each other. They need to get general managers in there and fix it.

I’ve given this Popeyes location multiple chances, but the experience keeps getting worse. The staff’s appearance and professionalism are extremely lacking. Employees in the back are sagging their pants, and others are wearing tight yoga pants. This is not only unprofessional but also uncomfortable for customers who simply want to order food without seeing inappropriate attire. A customer doesn’t want to come into an establishment, turn and see a 16 year old minors Buttocks through their yoga pants. A customer doesn’t want to see a 16 year old males undergarments covering their bottom where their pants are supposed to be.

On top of that, the food is consistently old and cold. I’ve worked at Popeyes before and have management experience, so I know the standards for food quality and freshness — and this location is clearly not following them. Food that sits past its holding time should be replaced, but it isn’t here.

This store needs serious attention from upper management or the franchise owner. This store could definitely use a General Manager to supervise the managers and employees. If anyone knows how to contact the owner or district manager, I’d appreciate it.

Dine in was closed at 7pm or they just kept the door locked so people couldnt come in. It took 15 minutes to make biscuits. There was zero effort in customer service, no apology for the wait, no apology for no sandwiches. If this wasn’t the only popeyes around, I’d probably stop coming here. I only gave it a 2 because the food was really good. Everything else was bad.
