The food was really delicious! The hand shaven noodles were amazing and it was just flavorful overall. The picture is actually one bowl split into two because of how much they give you! A nice place in Chinatown, hoping to come back soon.

Very good food on a cold day! House special soup was very flavorful, and had a good amount of meat & veggies in it. Other party members ordered chicken fried rice, vegetable stir fry, and pad Thai.
Like many places in China Town this is an in-and-out establishment (meaning they sit you down fast, bring your food even faster)

The “bomb” noodle soup is the best soup dish I’ve ever had (ordered medium spicy) Added some pickled veggies. The Woodear mushroom dish was delicious. We are lucky to have this restaurant in our Chinatown.

This restaurant specializes in noodles, either with soup or stir fried. They also have mala bowl which has meat/seafood and vegetables at the bottom of the bowl. The size is good and the taste is wonderful. We really enjoyed our lunch there. For those who want to pay with credit cards, please note that there’s an extra 4% surcharge on top of your bill.

I ordered the Spring Rolls and the Beef Mix (spicy option). Both dishes were very good. I especially enjoyed their soup and the level of spice. I also liked their pickles. I’m not exactly sure what kind they were, but they tasted like vegetable pickles. Overall, I would definitely come back to eat the same dishes or try something different.

Finally got to try this place and I wasn’t disappointed! It was packed when we got there but our group of four was seated in 5 minutes and our food came out right away. I ordered the pork Szechuan noodles and they were fantastic. The portion is huge but they were so good I ended up finishing the whole bowl. I also couldn’t stop eating the pickled vegetables they keep on the tables lol. Will be back!

Spice C in Philly was a really good spot. The broth was the real star. It had the perfect flavor with just the right amount of spice. The beef cuts in the noodle soup were tender, and the hand-pulled noodles were good, though the portion felt a bit heavy. The service was solid.

Spice C was a very nice experience for us. We were just wandering around China town and decided to pop in for dinner on a Sunday night. My wife got the sesame chicken. She was disappointed you couldn’t do a side of fried rice but the chicken was cooked perfectly nice crispy crunch to it and the sauce had good flavor. I had the treasure stir fry with the hand pulled noodles this was great, I loved the flavors and there was a solid amount of meats shrimp were kinda small, but the noodles were the star of the show best noodles in an Asian dish I’ve had. Definitely check them out when in Philly’s China town!

recently tried the fish noodle again and it’s quite fishy, like a bit too much. Also tried the black bean noodle (or noodles w soy sauce pork cuz apparently I came back and there is no black bean noodles on the menu…) and it’s pretty good. Portion is huge with meat, lots of noodles, and lettuce at the bottom.

I have really wonderful memories of eating at Spice C some 7 years ago. It didn’t quite live up to my memories, but I’ll still come back to give it another try in the future.
I loved the spicy fish fillet soup, so had to get it again. I think there was some miscommunication, because my soup came with deep fried fish instead of boiled fish. It was okay, but I would’ve preferred boiled fish. I got it with shaved noodles, which I felt were overcooked and too soft. I heard that the hand pulled noodles had better texture. The soup had a great savory and spicy flavor.
The Chinese broccoli dish was great — fresh, well-cooked, and well-seasoned.
Overall I didn’t love what I got this time, but I know it can be better!
