Fantastic service! Got chicken fried steak. Huge portion! Mashed potatoes were cold though. The gravy warmed them up a tad. Mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings were also delicious!
Strong Fabuloso smell in restrooms though and stuck with us throughout lunch. Definitely a good place to stop for home cooked meal!

Great atmosphere, locally owned, great food!! I was just passing through, loved their slogan “Come as friends, leave as family”.

I’m really upset that I can’t give this place more stars. The food and service was excellent. I had a chicken salad with the freshest greens I’ve seen in a long time. We also got some fried mushrooms that didn’t disappoint. Everything was fresh and hot when it got to the table. We will definitely stop here again.

Tonight I had the chicken fried steak with mashed taters, onion rings, hot water cornbread and a side salad.
The steak was huge with a good flavor but it did have a few small burnt areas. The taters and salad were average and I really liked the onion rings. I wasn’t a fan of the cornbread though. It really needs more umph as far as actual corn flavor.
The service was excellent with the servers really being on top of their game and the prices seem reasonable.
If I’m ever in this area again I’ll definitely plan on stopping by to try other items. Hopefully the locals keep dining here to keep this little gem open for years to come.

A Classic greasy spoon with a great selection of comfort foods. The large menu makes it difficult to decide! Our waitress, Michaela, was really pleasant and welcoming. The fried catfish was excellent and the princess enjoyed the daily special, Philly steak sandwich. This restaurant is worthy!

I got the 4 piece chicken finger meal and the food portion was large and VERY delicious! My fiancé ordered one of the burgers and thought it was delicious too. I will say it took quite a while for the food to come out. The waitress never stopped by to see if needed anything but one time towards the end of our time. It’s definitely a good place if you have time to wait and need a good Mom and Pops kind of meal.

A classic small town cafe! The food was delicious and the service was great . The Cafe itself is definitely in need of some tlc and upkeep. All in all, it was good and didn’t disappoint.

The food was really great and the service even better. The only part of the dining experience that we wished we could have changed would be starting with dessert first so that we could have had more room for the fried chocolate pie, cheese cake, and key lime pie. We’ll definitely be back again soon.

Food was terrific!! Chicken Fried Steak was delicious, green beans perfect, they know how to season the food!! Very pleasant and clean atmosphere. Service was excellent. Will be frequenting our new favorite spot near our new home!
