Famous spot for lobster rolls, often voted among the best in Connecticut. The 4oz roll ($29 market price) was buttery, fresh, and delicious. BYOB and plenty of casual seating by the water. Chowder was rich with clams and potatoes (even better provided oyster crackers). Clean porta-potties and decent parking, though it fills up quickly. The sausage, peppers & onions were hearty and flavorful. Staff was friendly and efficient, and orders came out quickly. A classic New England seafood shack worth the visit.

Great spot right on the water, decent parking. Just underwent renovations, the “shack” is much sturdier now!

Delicious lobster rolls! My friend took us here because this was her favorite place for lobster rolls. We ordered them to go this time but I’ll have to enjoy them there next time.
Lots of lobster meat and butter. We also ordered the lobster bisque with a few lobster chunks. It was also delicious but I wish there was more meat. We also had coleslaw but I thought they were ok.

Very cute set up by the water. Service was great and food came quick!
Ordered lobster roll, clam chowder and lobster bisque. Roll was simple but satisfying with tender chunks of lobster. Clam chowder was tasty but the bisque was a little lackluster. It was a little too sweet for our liking and tasted just creamy.
Overall a great fuss free experience with a nice view to boot.

Food was amazing, but the wait can be long.
We’ve been here during the week, but getting food on a weekend, let alone a holiday, can be a challenge.
Parking here is always a problem, but expect to circle a LOT at times. It took us 45 minutes to get our food, but patience got us a shared table, and a parking space after 15.
Id recommend having one person go out and sit in line, while the other waits for an opening to park, then join up.
Otherwise, beautiful space with dockside sounds and views

The hot lobster roll was buttery, packed with tender lobster, and served in a perfectly toasted bun—simple and amazing. The soups were just as comforting: creamy clam chowder, and rich lobster bisque. Perfect combo for a cozy, satisfying meal. Highly recommend.

This was our second time traveling down to the lobster landing the first time, it was just too crowded so we returned on a Tuesday and were able to order right away. We had two lobster rolls and a cup of clam chowder. The lobster rolls were about $28 each in the clam chowder was around $7. The lobster roll was filled with lots of good flavorful lobster! The hot buttery roll and toasted bun were a welcome lunch treat at this beautiful shoreline location. The chowder was also delicious with lots of clams and it was full of flavor. We also opted for the lobster bisque, which was delicious !Enjoyed our afternoon at the lobster landing and can see how with many crowds it can be hard to visit. However, if you get the opportunity it’s worth checking out!

The lobster rolls were absolutely amazing. Super fresh with no fillers, loaded with pure lobster, a hint of lemon and covered in melted butter. I’m already dreaming about going back again tomorrow. The place was very busy, so there was a bit of a wait but well worth it. The water side outdoor seating provided the perfect backdrop.
