Honestly this is the best mexican restaurant around the metro area to me thus far. The birria tacos were mouthwatering good. I added some spicier salsa and it was homemade and excellent. The Salsa and queso were really good and the green enchiladas were perfectly cooked and plentiful. This will now be our go to mexican restaurant and so worth the 25 minute drive for us. The view here is amazing of the canton mountain too.

I had a fantastic time at Nuevos Amigos Cocina Mexicana’s Brunch for a Cause event benefiting a local dog rescue foundation! The patio was adorable, filled with furry friends and wonderful people. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. Kudos to the team for hosting a great event for a great cause. If you’re a dog lover like me, or just looking for a tasty meal in a lovely setting, Nuevos Amigos is a must-visit! Can’t wait to go back!

I made reservations online. I don’t come often because I do stay in Cumming but the few times I’ve gone, they always have good service and amazing food. Melanie was a great server as well as the bartender. This place never disappoints. Will definitely be coming back but for brunch. ♡ p.s. this receipt is of 3 adults and 1 child. Love this place. The outdoor area is beautiful. They were celebrating Day of the Dead, there were musicians and performers.
Food was good. They make the guacamole right at the table and ask what you would like in it. I was with a large party and everyone liked their food.
I am used to the region of Mexican food that I ate out west and tend to be disappointed eating out in GA, but this was a good experience.

My first time eating at Nuevos Amigos, and I’m so happy to have stopped. The outdoor atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. Seems like an excellent spot for a birthday party, office luncheon. The food yum, I got the homemade tamales and a Texas margarita. Excellent spot!!

This ain’t your typical Mexican spot… Nuevos Amigos hits different, and I’m telling you straight up they know what they’re doing.
I stopped by Nuevos Amigos Cocina Mexicana, and let me tell you, I was genuinely impressed. From the jump, their menu stands out with dishes you don’t usually see at your regular Mexican restaurant and that already caught my attention.
We kicked things off with the Texas Dip, and wow… creamy, well seasoned, and the kind of appetizer that sets the tone right. But the real game changers for me were two dishes:
La Piña: served inside a pineapple with juicy meat, melted cheese, and that tropical touch that just works.
Texas Fajitas: packed with beef, shrimp, and veggies sizzling hot. That one’s a must.
Now here’s the part that took it even further they have a beautiful patio with a great view. I didn’t get to enjoy it fully this time, but I’m already planning to come back and make the most of it. And as if that wasn’t enough… they also have a rooftop that opens Thursday through Saturday. That’s a whole other vibe I definitely want to experience.
The service was excellent, and the staff made sure everything felt easy and welcoming. We also tried some margaritas solid 8/10 refreshing and balanced.
Bottom line: flavorful food, unique dishes, great service, and a whole vibe with that patio and rooftop combo. This spot is definitely worth checking out and I’m already thinking about round two.

Me and my husband when here for dinner last night to try somewhere new and we were not disappointed! Food was great and service was excellent! We split the Chicken & Steak Alambres and still had left overs. Will definitely come back!

This is my new favorite place for margaritas! The food is amazing. Everything on the appetizer menu is amazing. Best chicken quesadilla I’ve had in a long time I definitely recommend it. Love the outside lawn area. location wise it is a drive, unless you all ready live in Canton, but it’s worth the trip.

Really enjoyed our lunch. Good and fast service. Dining area appeared to be kept very clean. Someone was constantly cleaning. I had the chimichanga and my wife had a crunchy taco. They either don’t have to go cups or were out at the time.
