Break Awayz is the ONLY place that you need to visit for beverages and food when at Flagler Beach!! Our FANTASTIC bartender, Ashley, was incredible and super attentive. Take a look at this phenomenal Buffalo chicken Mac n cheese bowl! Thank you Chef Steve for personally preparing this delicious meal, as it is like no other! Don’t get me wrong, we visited all the other establishments and Break Awayz far exceeds the other restaurants at Flagler Beach!! If you’re a fan of craft beer, please give the ‘You’re My Boy Blue’ wheat beer a try as it’s awesome! Thank you Ashley and Steve for another wonderful experience. See y’all next time we’re in town.

I used to come often and really enjoyed this place. Last Friday, there was a captain and tennille wannabe duo playing at sunset, the singer spoke into the microphone (twice) to tell me that the other black person (a complete stranger) was seated at the other side of the patio. I told her that I don’t know that person and tried to enjoy the rest of my night.
Unfortunately, the food was a complete disappointment. I’ll let the photo of the steak flatbread speak for itself. I confused sautéed and seasoned onions for steak because it was dark; the server first said it was a 4 oz. portion, then returned to clarify its 2 oz. on the flatbread. Honestly, item should be removed from the menu at this point.

2nd time here. Food is delicious and Ashley takes care of you at the bar. This time had the prosciutto wrapped goat cheese and peppers.

Food was good, we had one of the flatbreads. We had some fish bites, which were really good, we had a bowl of the homemade tomato bisque soup, which was good and a garden salad, which was just a salad. View from the outdoor seating is spectacular. You can see the beach. They also had a gluten-free menu, I would eat there again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Break Awayz – this appears to be a “dive bar & grill” from the first look … but it is more. The weather was just right, sunny, low 80’s and an ocean breeze that made the front patio with a view of the ocean, perfect to eat our food and enjoy a couple cold beverages. The wait staff was friendly and timely, engaging us with just enough conversation and enthusiasm for their business to make want more than just a couple beers. We ended up getting some seared tuna tacos, which were flavorful, fresh and done just right! This is a place you’d imagine in an old 1950’s movie (Beach Blanket Bingo or Gidget). Old time charm, excellent service and good food! Very nice experience, keep doing what you’re doing Break Awayz – it’s working for us!

Great dinner here! Yummy food, great selections for beer flights, super service! Every single employee would check to see if we needed anything, every time they walked by. My wife and I joked that they must have thought we had a million-follower food blog, or were advance scouts for Guy Fieri! Flagler Bites, Lobster Ravioli and Shrimp Baja Tacos. Deeeee-lish!

Really great food, with a pretty diverse menu, lots of craft beer options and cocktails. The live music was at a great volume, allowing for conversation. We dined outside, and sea breeze was gentle, making for a super experience. The atmosphere inside was a bit louder, but not drastically. Service was good & friendly, fast, and accurate. Would be interested to visit again.
