We discovered this restaurant shortly after we moved to West Salem in October of 2024. It has become my absolute favorite restaurant! Their food is absolutely amazing, it’s like having your grandma make you food!! Everything’s homemade and fresh to order. The cheese blitz has to be in my favorite, you can order it either just the cheese blitz or you can order the combo which comes with your choice of eggs and sausage or bacon. The cheese Bliss is essentially a crepe filled with a kind of sweet cream cheese, then lightly fried and served with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. For it being something that is deep fried it’s not greasy, I didn’t even realize it was deep fried until a couple visits ago. We went today for my birthday and discovered that they do a special treat for customers celebrating their birthday. I was blown away, they give the biggest homemade cinnamon roll as a complimentary gift!!! My jaw dropped when I saw how big it was! I also have no clue that they did anything for birthdays so it was an incredible surprise!!

We asked on our home town Facebook page about places to have a great breakfast not in Albany and Taters was our pick. Let me tell you the did not disappoint. Great server. She was very on top of her game. Me have been in the industry for 25 plus years. The food was quick for being homemade and hot. Eggs cooked to perfection and homemade biscuits were melt in your mouth delicious. We love it and will make the 60 mile round trip again.

7 years ago we had a few great dinning experiences here. This trip was different. We got sat immediately, 5-10 for staff to take our order. Then we waited 45 minutes. Presentation good. But was not as i remembered. My husbands sasage was still cold in the middle, pancakes were rubbery. Eggs were a perfect over medium. Potatoe o”brians seemed air or oil fried no seasoning of flavor the onions & peppers could have been cooked longer and with potatoes to help with flavor. It’s cute and when patiobisvopen good room for extra guest. But need to have more cooks or a better system. And communication with the guests on food expectations.

Great patio seating! My dish had more hollandaise and gravy then I would have put on the food. I had a hard time tasting my eggs. It was hard to tell because there was just too much gravy. Overpowered the whole dish.

This is a small cafe that serves good food. The portions are large but there is a kids menu and a senior menu. We had breakfast. The bacon was delicious, nice and thick and cooked through so it wasn’t limpy. Good biscuits too! A good sausage gravy as well. We will be back.

awesome establishment. They were very friendly and efficient. It was comfortable even though it was small. They had great kids meals. The food quality was absolutely on point. The cup of fruit was delicious, fresh and high quality. absolutely loved the Hollandaise sauce which was made from scratch not from a mix which is what usually get from these types of places. The Denver omelet was great. I’m sure that I will be going back. The view from the restaurant isn’t that bad even though it’s on the street, there’s a little fish pond and you can see the fish swimming around period the ambiance is nice in the parking is very easy.

Heard but never been here until today! Pumpkin Pancakes with pumpkin butter and whip cream was wonderful! Loved the gravy also!! YUM! I was under whelmed with the chicken fried steak and the biscuit wasn’t the consistency I prefer. Service was great!!! Come try Tater’s if your interested the neighborhood!

Was in Dallas for a basketball game…so there was limited restaurants to choose from (small town). Staff was tentative and we got there right before a huge rush. Restaurant has cool decor…the dining area is little small and felt crowded, but they did offer covered outdoor seating. Food was hot and quality was good. Portions were plentiful and presented tastefully on the plates. 4 stars because we were waiting on one more breakfast. We ordered 4 breakfasts and 3 came out at the same time….waitresses was pleasant but felt like she was irritated at the same time. Anyways, I would recommend!
