Today I visited Coaches Burger Bar at 5529 Mahoning Ave, Austintown, OH 44515. I was impressed with my visit. I ordered the Sideline Fire Burger featuring pepper jack cheese, Jalapeño, and spicy sauce. I found it tasty with just the right amount of heat. I also enjoyed the fries. I would definitely visit Coaches again if I were in town.

Best burgers.
I’ve had a lot of burgers in my life, and this is up there in the top 5. Patties are thick and juicy, bread crisp on the outside yet soft and fluffy.
Fries were a bit soggy and oily, but the burger makes up for it. Absolutely will return.

Food was amazing. Our waitress Andrea was amazing! She was always checking on us. When she gave us our checks she said it was her first night! She was amazing! Highly recommend!!

Had the worst experience here today. After waiting 45 minutes for our food in an almost empty restaurant, our server came to our table and asked us for our order all over again. She blamed it on the bar being behind and our order being similar to someone’s at the bar. A few minutes later the manager came to our table and said that the server never put our food order in because she didn’t write it down and forgot what we ordered. (She did write it down..) So after waiting another 40 minutes for our food, we ended up taking it to go. We got home and realized that we didn’t even get everything that we ordered. I understand things happen, but this was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I will not be back.

Went for an early dinner/late lunch, as we were out of town. My dad is a huge fan of burgers, so of course when we saw burger bar, we were intrigued to try it out. I had the bourbon burger. It was delicious and flavorful and I would definitely have it again and recommend it to anyone. It was the perfect mix between sweet and savory. The fries, however, were wayyyy too salty for my liking. The onion rings or whatever it is they call them were not as we expected. We expected a large thick onion ring like you get at Texas Roadhouse or something, instead we got thin little onions. However, I actually really loved them that way! The dip for the onion rings or flakes was some of the best onion ring dip I’ve ever had! If we ever come back to the area, we’d have Coach’s again!

Hands down the worst service experience I’ve ever had at any establishment. Tonight after an hour and a half we had to ask for the food to go because it was getting too late for our young kids. The restaurant was empty btw, bar was maybe half full. And they still didn’t even get the order right. Never again

Coaches used to be great! Freshly made burger patties that were perfectly seasoned. Things have changed…a lot. The burgers are now clearly bulk packaged frozen patties with no seasoning. I’d much rather pay an extra $5 for something good. I won’t be returning.

You’re lucky if the kitchen sends out a meal correctly. Doesn’t matter if you order in, go in person to carry out or DoorDash it. I try to support local and give local several chances, but they’re now 5 for 5 on not getting the food right.
