Really not good. Unfortunate, because we came a few times a while back when they first opened, and it was wonderful.

The spicy tuna tacos (which were AMAZING last time we came), were just meh. Bland.

Crispy rice with spicy tuna: The crispy rice appeared to be deep-fried chunks of rice, oozing with grease, with the same bland spicy tuna as was in the mini tacos on top. The greasy rice chunk actually had a fantastic flavor to it.

Spicy chicken ramen: there is literally more flavor in a $1.25 package of ramen from your local grocer. You have the option of mild, spicy, and hot. I ordered spicy. It had zero spice at all. Super disappointing.

Premium Tonkatsu Red: very yummy! The spice scale is different here, you indicate your level on a scale of 1-10. (With anything higher than 6 incurring an upcharge btw). We requested 5, and it was perfect.

Service was dicey. The gal was nice enough. But disappeared for long gaps. Also we were never given spoons. I eventually went and found them myself and brought them to the table.

Ehh. We may give them another try at some point. Not a great experience this time though.

The shrimp tempura appetizer is INCREDIBLE. We’ll come again for that. The ramen was fine and HUGE, but maybe we’re just not ramen people? I don’t know.

The thing that threw me off was the service. Our server was so laid back, almost lazy. Never there when we needed him, even after staring him down and making eye contact from our table. It was strange. Concluding, I just didn’t feel cool enough for this restaurant

My fav spot in the Buford area to get food. Something about the salmon tacos…SO GOOD!!! I also love to get their matcha lemonade and matcha tiramisu. Such a yummy menu!

But seriously. THOSE SALMON TACOS

The service is awesome.

We have been coming to Jinya for some time now, and the food was great as always. The food we had for dinner was amazing, and so was her server, Jonathan. He was amazing and made the experience so much better. When something wasn’t right, like the sweet tea not being sweet, or the broth being too bland, he kept a smile on his face and helped us immediately, as best as he could. The kids meal was really tasty, along with the spicy ramen.

Edit: updating my review due to the incredible follow I received from management about our experience on our first visit. We returned today and were able to have the ramen we wanted last time and it was a much better experience. The food was delicious, I had the Birria ramen and my family all had spicy chicken. The managers there are amazing and provide excellent customer service. Thank you Sanaya and Sunny!

I’d comment on the food but sat there for 10 mins waiting for someone to even offer water. Only one girl waiting on 3 tables and a few others just having a laugh in the kitchen, watching us and continuing on. Wow.

My husband and I absolutely love this place. They have the best ramen in Atlanta. My favorite is the Chicks Yozo Ramen, and my husband loves the Birria Ramen and the pork gyoza. There is always seating available, the hostesses are welcoming, and the servers are friendly and attentive. They are always ready to help and make sure everything is taken care of. We are regular customers, and we are always treated very well. The food comes out quickly, and recently we brought some friends with us. They were impressed by how delicious and affordable everything was. Highly recommend.

Jinya Ramen Bar in Buford is a solid spot for anyone craving decent and tasty ramen without any issue. The food hits the right notes — flavorful broth, good noodles, and well-balanced toppings. The ambience is great too, cozy and chill, perfect for casual dinners or catching up with friends. Service is friendly and efficient, making the whole experience smooth. Mmm.. the above average ramen in town, but definitely reliable and satisfying when hunger strikes!

I would say I usually go to the one in Duluth, but I was in this area and came in to try this place. I will say if they busy then don’t go here. It’s not worth as I think this place needs to be retrained on how think on their feet. When I can in with 5 people and there are some open spots close to each other. There is always an option of splitting the group. When i ordered it was fine until I got my food. First of all I understand how it was busy but still I was not really paid attention too. I never got my chopsticks or spoon. I had ask the person seating people and they didn’t even get me my stuff and instead just told the waitress that was suppose to help us and still had wait a bit to get my chopsticks and spoon. After that one of the ramen I ordered was missing an egg. I brought this up to them as I order the same ramen for everyone. They said they will handle it and I basically sat there for 15minutes and still did not get my egg. I brought this up to them again and I had to make eye contact with them non stop for them to finally bring me my egg but at that time I basically finished my ramen. Overall I feel like I was not taken cared well here. I see that this is not the first as this has happened with others. So there needs to be a change going on somewhere in order for me to want to come back.

Great location with a cool, intimate vibe perfect for ramen and cocktails. The drinks were on point, the service was great, and the crowd had a good energy. It’s a nice spot to meet friends and actually catch up. I enjoyed my ramen and will definitely be back. You always know it’s a great choice when it has over 1k reviews⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been to a couple of ramen places in the Atlanta area, but this is probably the best.

When you are first brought to your table, all of the employees say, “Irasshai!” (Japanese for “Welcome!”), and everyone is kind. This is the first place I’ve ever been to that offers takoyaki, which I’ve been wanting to try for years. Their ramen is great, of course, and you can even customize the spice level on a scale of 1 to 10. I chose 5, which wasn’t spicy enough to burn my mouth off, but did clear my sinuses. I can’t imagine what the level 10 ramen must be like! And when you leave, everyone says, “Arigatō!”

This has got to be one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve ever been to, right up there with Kura Revolving Sushi Bar.
