Found this little gem on our way through traveling to Tallahassee! Second time here and have not been disappointed! Wonderful service and good food! Our waitress Regina is top notch friendly and takes great care of her customers! Loaded fried green tomatoes are a must try, perfect blend of flavors from the feta cheese and sauce! Honey Pecan Shrimp and Wharf Shrimp ah-mazing!! Hush puppies are delicious! Definitely make the drive to try out The Wharf, wonderful atmosphere and great food! Definitely my go to when traveling through.

This restaurant is an absolute must-visit!
If you’re reading reviews and wondering whether this place is worth your time – stop wondering. It absolutely is.

The honey pecan fried shrimp is nothing short of extraordinary and was hands-down the star of our meal. Every single person at our table experienced serious entree envy watching it being enjoyed.

The loaded fried green tomatoes were spectacular – honestly substantial enough to be a satisfying meal all on their own.

The wharf cake offers a creative and delicious twist on the traditional crab cake, featuring three varieties of perfectly seasoned chopped fish. I ordered mine blackened and liked it, though I suspect it would be even more phenomenal fried.

The green beans were cooked to al dente perfection – beautifully buttery with just the right crunch. My six-year-old couldn’t get enough and eagerly asked for seconds!

The smash potatoes were a creative take on red potatoes that are fried to crispy perfection on the outside while remaining incredibly soft and fluffy inside. A touch of salt makes the flavors absolutely sing.

The sweet potato fries were good, and the gumbo was wonderfully hearty with fantastic seasoning throughout.

Our server was exceptional – attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaged. She expertly guided us through the menu with thoughtful suggestions that led us to an absolutely delicious feast.

The only disappointment of the evening? They’d run out of banana pudding – though as our server mentioned (and other customers confirmed), it’s likely because it’s just as irresistible as everything else on their outstanding menu.

Bonus: No wait when we arrived at 6:00 pm on a Sunday evening in December, and plenty of convenient parking.

This place is a gem!

The service was very friendly and welcoming! They answered any questions that we had with a smile. The food was delicious! We had the loaded fried green tomatoes and fried shrimp entrees with cheese grits. We will definitely be back!

The food and services is always on point. They are very polite and friendly as soon as you walk in; the food comes out fast and fresh every time. Most importantly the food is delicious no matter what time of day you visit the friendly people at the Wharf! Our waitress Mrs. Regina was very friendly and funny.

The Wharf is a great place to eat! My family came after hearing that it had good food, and we were glad we did.
I ordered the blackened shrimp with cheese grits. The shrimp had an excellent flavor with a nice kick. Not too much of a kick. Just right. The cheese grits were creamy and had an unexpected spice to it. Very nice. The hush puppies had a light buttery taste. I loved it!
The dining area is clean. If there is one thing, I would say the area needs a little something besides tables, chairs, and a couple of TVs. Nothing really says “seafood”. BUT, that is only looking for something to critique.
You must give this place a try!

This place was AMAZING! We came in from out of town just wanting some good food that wasn’t a typical burger. Seeing the reviews, we decided to go. Even when we arrived an hour before closing, they made us feel right at home. The food was delicious and Regina was lovely! She brought us a side of their house ranch that she thought we’d like with our smashed potatoes and she was 100% right! Everything was delicious and fast. The food tasted clean and seasoned to perfection. Go if you’re ever in Marianna!

As a first time vistor I dined in for lunch and ordered a Mahi Mahi po boy. It had a decent piece rather thin on half my sandwich and the other half of my sandwich had a tiny skinny piece of fish on the other. There was more lettuce on the sandwich then anything. It was like a rabbit food sandwich. If you’re going to charge 16.00 for a sandwich do better! I said something to the waitress and was told it was weighed out. Not very well apparently. She said they’d cook another piece. I got this which was actually a little bigger than the first one which I wish I snapped a picture of the first one as well. I left feeling very dissatisfied.

Definitely not worth the price point. The mahi mahi tastes like catfish… Pretty much the entire time I was eating I was questioning if I’d actually gotten the right food. We’d ordered an extra side with a kids meal and had a waitress try to tell us she didn’t get fries too even though I’d paid extra for the side and fries. Mine and my husband’s fries didn’t even come out until we were already almost done with our mean and even the I had to go and ask for them… Don’t waste your money on subpar syco seafood

Everything we ordered at The Wharf was outstanding. We had the fish tacos, smoked gouda grits, shrimp, hush puppies, loaded fried green tomatoes, and a blueberry lemonade and every single item was amazing.
The food was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming, and the service was fast without feeling rushed.
This is the kind of place where you can tell care goes into both the kitchen and the overall experience. We’ll absolutely be back.
