I do have to say… In the past I wasn’t all about taco bell. I’ve been to San Diego where the food is 100% authentic. However, the food isn’t half bad. But, this post isn’t all about the food. It’s about the people and service that you find at taco bell Rochester. I went there out of a whim, like any other person who might have a craving for some Mexican food. Used the app, which is pretty easy…. Even where I don’t have any clue what the food is.. At the pick up window, I ask the employee, if they do anything for dogs. Mind you I didn’t give any extra details about my Ole boy. He is a 13 yr old service dog, with the most amazing heart. The man said “gee.. Idk, I don’t think I have ever been asked this before” a female employee then spoke up and said “yes, we can do a cup of chicken”. I received my…… Or his cup of chicken in the bag at no cost… They never questioned about it or him where McDonald’s didn’t do a single thing. It’s not for me. I already bought and paid for my own food. But for this Taco Bell establishment to have a heart for those doggo companions who also help us humans with needs, without even knowing, really speaks loudly.
I will continue being an honorable customer. I absolutely will visit again and I hope others will too.

More often than not when I ordered from this particular Taco Bell location on DoorDash they messed up my order in one way or another. Usually, they forget entire items. I ordered four items and they forgot one of them, one of them was burnt and my quesadilla had tomatoes in it somehow. How do you miss a crunch wrap supreme on an order with three other items? If you can, go anywhere else.

This location is clean and efficient and always has the new items. This time when I went they were using the AI drive through service and I’m not sure how I feel about it. It worked but I would have liked more clarity and an ability to ask questions. They were out of one refresca flavor but otherwise service was good. The cantina chicken quesadilla was delicious

Told by robot answering orders the Luxe boxes weren’t available. Ordered something else after multiple attempts got a real person ordered and drove to the windows and person that took the order. At the windows I saw them preparing the luxe boxes the robot told me weren’t available. I asked the person who took my order if I could get the luxe box she said I could but that it was company policy that I can’t order at the windows. She said I need to go back thru the drive thru because the company wants to force AI use for orders. I said that didn’t work and that she took my order. I said that there were several more cars in line I would have to wait for. She said again she can’t take my order. I drive back in line for another 6 or 7 minutes. I get to the speaker at the menu. This time the person who took my first order comes on. I order the luxe box. It takes 4 more mins to get to the drive up windows. I wait about 3 more min at the windows. She hands me a bag. I say I ordered the box. She said everything that goes in the box is in the bag and they are now too busy to use the boxes I saw at my first visit. This is ridiculous! The AI would never let me finish an order before it would ask me to order again. She stopped using it but made me drive around again then I waited at the windows for my order anyway. It looked like there was no coordination between cookers, baggers and order takers. They looked frustrated. The fact they couldn’t make up for the AIs mistake is another example there was no captain running that ship. I think I can live without Taco Bell in the future. I thought I would let them know why. I worked for a big and very structured company and local centers could make decisions to keep our customers satisfied. Taco Bell doesn’t care abut the customers. They make them guinea pigs for their AI experiment. It’s probably about saving money not serving customers it’s sad how poorly businesses are run now, fast food especially.

Super rude to customers told customer to get a fork at Cumberland farms across the street because they had no forks. The customer had bought something for her daughter to eat. Another customer went out to her car and got the little girl a fork.

Absolutely terrible! I took a bite of my first taco in my order and had a long piece of HAIR in it. Nearly threw up. I drove all the way back to give them my order back (Supreme combo, and 2 grilled cheese burritos – $25) as I lost my appetite and I just wanted my money back. The staff apologized but would only offer me a replacement taco! Very frustrating. I will not go back to this location.

Well I have been there 3 times and not only do I have a simple order of a $5 box but I get meat and cheese only on everything and I still have a missing taco and I got a burrito with only cheese…..kinda sad place to eat…..

Update:
Went back to see if they could do any better after talking with corporate…..once again got my order incorrect….I went back in to talk with them and to give them another chance to fix it….had to repeat myself 3 times and they messed it up again…..I can’t believe even corporate doesn’t care enough to fix the problem…..well I have learned my lesson…..

Update:
I haven’t been back since the last incident. Now my wife went and got a crunchwrap…..meat is only on one side….refer to picture….that place just needs to close down if they aren’t going to do anything about it…..

They miss items for drive thru orders. The AI used to order is also obnoxious and gets things wrong. All this plus the price increase equals the loss of a lifelong fan of the restaurant. Way to drop the ball Taco Bell.

Either order and go through the drvie thru or order on a kiosk inside. They need to fix whatever algorithm sets their orders.
I ordered on the app, to pick up in-store, “asap”. Order somehow got kicked to a nearly hour wait…for taco bell. I watched someone order from a kiosk and get their food in 5 minutes. They actually got two orders of food. Drive thru continues to move. Packed inside without orders being filled.
