We were on a hunt for a good Cuban meal in Orlando and this place was very close to Old Town area.

The outside facade was very simple and the inside decor was dated. It could use a makeover to make it more appealing but it was clean. We were immediately greeted when we came in and then seated.

We ordered the breaded chicken breast /pollo empanizado and pork chunks / masitas de puerco. Both entree includes rice and choice of either black or red beans. We also ordered a salad with avocados/ aguacate. We also ordered fresh mango juice, they had other fresh juice options: passion fruit, sour sop, orange. Like any real Cuban meal experience, we had coffee / cortadito to
complete our lunch. Sabroso.

The flavors were very authentic and very reminiscent of our Miami go to places. This made us happy, since our expectation was low, this far north from Miami. We were so excited that we found this place and the reviews were helpful for us to make a selection. There was 1 other place, 3 miles away that showed up when we goggle searched for Cuban restaurant, but when we went in, it looked more Puerto Rican offerings so we left. It looked good but we needed the real deal.

The portions were average and adequate. We came in at lunch and they only had 1 wait staff and there were 3 other tables, she managed her time and we did not have to wait too long to place an order. Our food was served in less than 30 minutes.

This place was a gem. If you want your Cuban meal fix, highly recommend coming here. You will not be disappointed. We enjoyed every bite.

Don’t let the location fool you — this place is a fantastic Cuban restaurant. It honestly stands up there with some of the great spots in Hialeah and Miami. The service was phenomenal, and the food came out quickly with very little wait time.

The dishes are prepared the traditional Cuban way, full of flavor and authenticity. You can tell they take pride in doing it right. My only minor critique would be that the atmosphere could use a little more theming or modernization, but the food and service are the starts of this restaurant.

With so few Cuban restaurants in Central Florida, this was such a pleasant surprise. It’s a hidden gem that deserves recognition and appreciation. Don’t sleep on this spot — if you’re craving real Cuban food, this is the place to go.

We saw the mixed reviews and decided to go for it because the better reviews were more recent. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming, the server we had was kind and attentive, and the food was good. From my experience, deserves a higher rating than it currently has

Stopped in on a Friday night and they were surprisingly not busy. Had prompt friendly service. Server spoke perfect English with an American accent. I ordered fresh squeezed mango juice and it was wonderful—sweet, cold, and slightly thick with pulp. Nothing like bottled mango juice. I also had ham croquettes and they were addictive. Perfect of ratio of ham, cheese, and breading. Excellent texture. My ground beef Creole-style picadillo with two soft fried eggs, rice, beans, and plantains was excellent. My friend ordered chicken soup and was highly impressed.

If you are looking for quiet, clean and high quality food, put this location on your list for a family night or date night.
The ambiance was calm with low jazz like music. It almost encourages you to slow down your day and enjoy whoever you’re with.
The food is high quality so you get what you pay for and it’s worth it. Please don’t do the garlic sauce on the side because you can put that on anything and it would be a win.
I asked my daughters on a scale of 1-5 how would you rate the food? The reply speaks for itself, “It broke my scale!”

buen provecho

I finally found it! I have been looking for years for a cuban restaurant that serves food like the one I used to have in New Jersey, tried a few places, but none tasted or look the same. Today, I looked on Google and Havana Kiss Restaurant Cuban Cafe came up, drove 30 minutes to eat my Steak Sandwich and it was exactly what I’ve been wanting for all these years! On top of the food, the atmosphere is so relaxing and the personnel, too nice! If you want real cuban food, this is the place to come to! This is now my new eating spot!

I always came here for a quick lunch and got the midnight sandwich and it’s consistently delicious. I came for dinner and decided to get something different so I ordered the churrasco, it was cooked perfectly. It was sooo good. It came with rice, beans, plantains, plenty of food!! I will definitely come again to get the same thing or maybe even try something new since there’s so much on the menu. The service was great, Gerry. the owner came to ask us how the food was, it made it feel very homey.

We went here for some Cuban food. The restaurant was empty, and the staff was very nice—the lady who helped us even explained they were closing in half an hour.

Unfortunately, the food wasn’t quite what we expected and didn’t taste like traditional Cuban foods o. It was also on the pricey side for what we received.

The mango juice was good, but the coffee was not all that.

A small issue came with the avocado salad: after we ordered, the lady asked if we wanted one, and my husband assumed it was complimentary and said yes. At the end, we were charged $10 for a very small salad with just a few pieces of lettuce and avocado. The tip was already added to the bill, so keep that in mind.

While the staff was friendly, the food and unexpected charges left us a bit disappointed.
