What a great place to come when in town! Always such great food, great drinks and the staff works so hard and so well together teaming up to serve everyone! Prices are super reasonable and I love it’s not fast food…doesn’t take forever but they cook to order so no nasty wings that were sitting in the back getting heated up….all so hot n fresh! Sitting at the bar always invites fun conversation with the great other customers! Love this place!

Bonus…this time it was a SNOW DAY @ Art’s & they stepped up to take great care of us all!

We were visiting Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum and decided to try Art’s Bar & Grill after our hotel attendant recommended it.

The food was good, but if you’re looking for a full “sit-down dining experience,” this probably isn’t the place. It’s more of a neighborhood bar that happens to serve food—on the pricier side—but the staff were genuinely super friendly and welcoming.

We ordered a classic burger with coleslaw, a flounder sandwich with steak fries, and mozzarella sticks. The total came to a little over $50, and everything tasted great.

One big thing to note: parking is very limited. We ended up parking across the street at the bank, which only worked because it was the weekend and the bank was closed. Otherwise, I didn’t see much nearby parking available.

Overall, if you want a quick meal and you like supporting local spots, I’d recommend giving it a try—just plan ahead for parking.

Stopped in for the first time for lunch. A little difficult to get to so pay attention to where you turn in. The place is a bar first with some great food options. I had a burger. It was great. I had tater tots and they were great as well. You are served on paper plates and plastic ware. They dont believe in washing dishes I guess. Overall was a fun experience and I would return to try other items on the menu.

The she crab soup was good. Be careful when you order the steamed oysters. I asked the bartender for lightly steamed oyster bucket… we got an oyster bucket full of shriveled up oysters with the shells wide open. I asked the bartender about the oysters and he said they usually don’t take special requests! I’m sorry, dude so if you don’t serve your oysters lightly steamed on a special request then why would you give me the damn oysters!?!? First time here!. Will not be back!

We were passing through Mt. Pleasant at dinner time and pulled into Art’s because it looked like the place that locals go to. We had dinner on a Saturday night and it was busy but not packed. The staff here were amazing. It appeared that our server may have also been a bartender, but others assisted with our table when he was busy. The seafood was fresh and delicious. I had the seafood sampler plate and my wife had the burger. Both were top-tier.

Great area to stop and get a bite, very near Shem Creek. Thought we get the kids some greasy bar food and enjoy a few pints. All I can say was for the price and service this place is a new favorite. Very fun and beautiful evening, there is traffic but it’s a low and slow Charleston feel.

Such a cute little dive bar in Mount Pleasant! The food was so amazing and the people were even better. I got the pimento cheese and bacon burger and my husband got the yellow fin tuna sandwich. We will definitely be back!

Locals eat here! This was my first time as an out of towner. I enjoyed the friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and good food! Mahi Mahi tacos were yummy (my local friend who hates fish loves them). My other picky friend said her fried shrimp were the best she’d had in years. Cold beer too and excellent service. Give them a try while you’re in town.
