My husband and I were in Birmingham on business and had planned to catch a good meal before heading back home… On my daughter’s recommendation of Bricktop’s and two others, I compared the reviews and photos of each and Bricktop’s stood out! We booked a reservation for 4:15 and Bricktop’s exceeded our expectations! The location is great. Parking was great! We were well received by the staff upon entry and once seated, our server was a top-notch professional! It’s a short menu but the options cover all the varieties. I went with my favorite… Ribeye with a not so loaded baked potato (I opted out of the cheese)! My husband had the Meatloaf. My steak was prepared AS I ORDERED IT (MEDIUM)… My baked potato was piping hot. I had to wait and let it cool down before I could eat it. (A good problem to have) Kudos! The presentation of my husband’s meatloaf was like none other and it was delicious, as were his mashed potatoes. The buttery corn was ON POINT! The O. Rings were very good but I couldn’t finish them all. I forced myself to order dessert as I always like to try dessert when I try a place for the first time. The bread pudding was very good, not the best I’ve ever had, but still VERY good. We’re looking forward to going back again just to try other items on the menu, so stay tuned! But, in the meantime, GO GET YOU SOME!

The hospitality was next to none from the reception to the waitress.
I had the Lobster Bosque for starters then the Steak-Frites cooked to perfection. Once done, I had to try their chocolate Chip Coockie skillet with fresh Vanilla ice cream!!
Definitely my Go-to place when im in Birmingham!!

Always consistent and delicious! My favorite restaurant in BHM. They do a phenomenal job training their staff to deliver the best experience every time. Grilled artichokes, steak frites and don’t sleep on the carrot cake! The best you will ever eat!

I thought this would be a great date night out for me and my husband. I just left this restaurant tonight 10.11.25, my reservation was set up for 6:30 made it there just in time. We were seated about 10 minutes after arriving. First we had a wedge salad and order some drinks. Husband he had his wine and I had the Prickly Pear Margarita it was different. My husband ordered our dinner while eating the salad, he got the Filet Mignon and I ordered the Ribeye, once it arrived we realized my meal was not correct they made both filet mignon. So they had to take it back and make the Ribeye. It was about 15 minutes later when they brought it out. I go and cut into it and it was very tender, I then went to cut another piece for my husband to taste and what happened then it was like I wanted to just scream. From under my meat I seat some movement, it was a “WORM”, it was crawling from under the ribeye. I flag down the waitress, while people are trying to see what was happening. I pointed out to her and she was like oh my goodness and took the plate away quickly. She walked the plate up to the young lady that brought it and show her the “WORM” on the plate. She quickly came over to apologize and I was making my way to the front door to get out of that place. She said well you know that your meal will be taken care. I had no discussion and told my husband don’t eat another bite. So just be mindful of what you’re being served. Don’t go to BRICKTOPS ever. Proof we were there. My rating is a negative but have to put something to post. Disgusting

Dined here for my birthday dinner with my husband and it was amazing! We made a reservation and were seated quickly upon arrival. The sushi was delicious and unique! We ordered different entrees and they were both phenomenal. We even devoured a shared bread pudding!! I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! From the service, to the atmosphere, everything was 10/10!!

Went to Bricktops to get prime rib and they did not disappoint. Mariela was absolutely awesome and on top of it. Side note, also had dinner with a complete random person (Evan) and it was good conversation and great time.

We stopped here back in December 2023 on a Saturday night. The place was packed including standing room only at the bar with at least a 45 minute wait for a table. Learning from this we made a reservation this time and was seated within a few minutes of our arrival. Definitely better to make a reservation rather than dropping in unannounced. Our waitress recorded our drinks and placed an order for the Spinach and Artichoke dip appetizer. Someone made a comment in their review about it being very good and they were spot on! While the menu is not extensive you should be able to find something you like. I ordered the blackened salmon with sautéed corn and my wife had the Bistro Chicken with the creamy whipped potatoes. Both were excellent. The desserts were very good. I should have requested to hold the nuts from the key lime pie but it was still very good. The hot fudge sundae was excellent. The staff was outstanding, along with the food, and the service. They made our anniversary special. We will definitely will be back in the future.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This place has it figured out. The food is some of the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is more upscale date night or business meeting with drinks and meal. Definitely don’t wear your tennis shoes and street clothes. Go business casual, Sunday best, or slightly more formal attire. High prices but definitely worth that special occasion. Wait staff are definitely high class wait staff.

I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The food was amazing. It was fresh, seasoned appropriately, and exceptionally executed. The atmosphere was to be expected for fine dining. It was Moody and romantic. The service was phenomenal! You can go anywhere for good food, but pair that with their service and you are bound for a top tier experience. 12/10

As my first time eating here I didn’t know what to expect. Definitely surpassed what I imagined. Food was delicious and the customer service was great. Our filet mignons were cooked to perfection and properly seasoned. The spinach dip was very delicious.
