Stopped by today for take out. Service was great, not a long wait for my food, I had ordered at the counter. Everyone was friendly and the servers were rocking and rolling, it was lunch time when I was there. The homeade Guaq was great as well as the food. Been there a few times just never had take out.

Excellent service and food… had 6 of us there to dine in. There were people out the door on a busy night (due to sports events at Liberty), but surprisingly, we had our table in 20 minutes. Server was right on it!

Our first time here! Chips and salsa served fast. Followed by margaritas which were very good. Our server, Poncho, was very attentive and friendly! Food was served fast, hot, and delicious. Portions are generous and pricing was very reasonable. Definitely recommend this as good, authentic Mexican food.

Went to eat here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch.
Was greeted by a not-so-friendly hostess, which made us think we weren’t going to like it, but in fact the food was delicious!
She took dirty glasses off the table and status in a booth without the table being cleaned first, that is the only reason I’m giving for stars, would be five stars for the quality of the food.
Our waiter was very outgoing and friendly and came and placed chips and salsa on our table and took our drink order.
from the time we placed our order to the time the food came I would say maybe 5 minutes elapsed.
Service was very prompt and the food was extremely good.
The only caveat on this day was the hostess…
We love the decor & the southwest feel & the bathrooms were very clean.
will definitely eat here again and recommend to others!

Great service! Staff very friendly and quick service! We were seated and within 5 seconds had hot chips and salsa served to us. Food was excellent and served within 5 minutes of ordering. Highly recommend. Inside is beautiful and interesting to view. Must go!!

This was a great lunch. Not too little, not too much. Very delicious! And, the dish lived up to its name, “Speedy González”, it came in a few minutes. The service I received at all La Carretas in the lynchburg area has been superb. I’ve been eating there since the original on Timberlake Road in the mid-1980s.
