What’s really great about this restaurant, especially if you have a family, is that it’s designed for more than just eating. The on-site playground and wide-open field are a fantastic way to keep everyone entertained while you wait for your food. Instead of kids being cooped up and restless, they can run around, play, and burn off some energy. It turns what could be a boring wait into an enjoyable part of the outing. And you can’t beat a place that combines fantastic views with a little bit of fun for the whole family.
Service es beet and food came out fast. We must’ve gotten there at a good time
Drinks were fairly priced. Food a little higher but portions were typically pretty big
Calamari and crab dipped was shared and deleted. I liked how the calamari had a lot of vegetables, as well as marinara and cocktail sauce. Cocktail sauce had some extra, different flavor which I enjoyed
Chesapeake chicken wasy dish and I really enjoyed it, good flavors and great assortment of veggies. Chicken was also good
Clam chowder was my soup selection and I was not a fan. Texture was not chowder like and flavor was lacking. Other than that we seemed to enjoy everything
The host was very attentive and greeted us immediately and sat us at a window table to overlook the lake. The server was also outstanding, checking on us and getting refills as needed.
The food was absolutely incredible! We stuck with a lighter meal-
I had the French onion soup and the berry and goat salad.
The French onion soup was very flavorful but had too much cheese in my opinion. A solid 7/10
The berry goat cheese salad with grapes, blueberries, strawberries and walnuts really takes you on a wholesome flavorful journey. 10/10
We also tried the grilled cheese and tomato soup!
The grilled cheese has a blend of cheeses and they also fry cheese on the outside of the bread. Great idea! 9/10
The tomato soup was delicious and paired perfectly dunking the grilled cheese in it. 8/10
Next door is the Honi Honi Bar, which isn’t owned by Uno’s but works closely with them. They serve Uno’s full menu and provide a more casual outdoor space with live music, especially in the evenings during the summer months. We visited during lunchtime, so it was quiet, but you could tell the place really comes alive later in the day.
Inside, Uno’s has a warm, cozy feel with wooden beams, rustic décor, a large stone fireplace, and lodge-style lighting. It’s spacious and clean, with plenty of seating for both families and larger groups. There’s also a full bar inside if you prefer to stay indoors.
Behind the restaurant, there’s a grassy area between the building and the lake with a playground and cornhole boards—a nice spot for families to unwind. Just watch your step out there, as the local geese have left plenty of “souvenirs” on the lawn. One of the coolest features is that you can even dock your boat and walk right up to eat, which adds to the laid-back, lakeside charm.
Our server was friendly and attentive, checking in on us without being overbearing. She did a good job and happily honored our request to have the chicken on our salad blackened.
As for the food:
• We started with mozzarella sticks. They were tasty but a bit pricey and fairly standard overall.
• We also ordered a 14-inch thin crust pizza with crumbled sausage, pepperoni, and peppers. The pizza was great—crispy, flavorful, and loaded with toppings. The crumbled sausage was especially good.
• We shared a grilled chicken salad and were impressed with the freshness and portion size. The blackened chicken gave it a nice touch of seasoning.
Uno’s has a wide-ranging menu beyond just pizza, including sandwiches, pastas, salads, and appetizers, so there’s something for everyone. Combine that with the lake view and next-door live music scene, and it’s easy to see why this is a go-to spot in Deep Creek.
Final Thoughts:
If you’re visiting Deep Creek and want good food, friendly service, and a relaxing lakeside vibe, Uno’s is a great choice. Whether you’re coming by car or pulling up by boat, you’ll enjoy the experience—and likely want to return.
The greeter refused to seat us in the outside deck with a vague – “it’s closed now”. We saw her seat other people there later on – so not sure why she refused us.
The pizza was very good. As well as the soup. On the expensive side but worth the money.
Would help to have more friendly staff
Husband had the Philly steak sandwich. Portion was large, bread was a little too steamy but the steak was good and wasn’t tough. Fries were very average, maybe not served quickly enough.
I had a fish sandwich and traded my fries for a side salad. The salad was a nice portion, but pretty typical overall.
The fish sandwich was also pretty typical, but I did like the crunchy pickle slices. The cheese was basic American
You could see it wasn’t melted enough as the “glossy out of the wrapper look” remained when it was served.
Overall we gave everything 4* but really should have ranked it more like 3.5. You can’t beat the lake view if you are lucky enough to sit by the window.
We went to deep creek lake for a day trip and were looking for a restaurant for lunch. In December on a weekday you don’t expect to see a restaurant full of people. When we sat down we realized why it was full. The view is amazing and the food is excellent. The server we had was the best. Very knowledgeable and respectful. He gave us plenty of information about what we can order. We ordered soup, pizza and steak bites. Everything was amazing. A+ service.
On Saturday, February 14, 2026, around 4 PM, my family had the pleasure of dining at UNO Pizzeria & Grill in Deep Creek — and what an experience it was.
Our server, Kadence, was absolutely amazing. Attentive, professional, warm, and on point from start to finish — a true 10 out of 10. Her runner? 10 out of 10. The greeting when we walked in? 10 out of 10.
For context, our company consults with restaurants throughout the Washington Metro area. We evaluate operations from hostesses, prep, and line staff to chefs, runners, servers, and management. In roughly 87% of the restaurants we work with, we identify weak spots in at least one area.
Not here.
UNO’s Deep Creek location operated like a well-oiled machine. Every position was covered with excellence. Both managers were outstanding — the young lady in the red heart blouse (I regret not catching her name) and the gentleman with the blue shirt and tie who carried himself with an extremely pleasant demeanor. Leadership clearly sets the tone here.
To top it all off, we jokingly teased Kadence about there being no flowers for the ladies in our party — and she ended the evening by surprising them with roses. That level of thoughtful service is rare and unforgettable.
Bravo to the entire UNO team. We can’t wait to return the next time we’re skiing in Deep Creek.

We were greeted by a hostess and seated almost immediately. Once seated we were sitting about 15 minutes before we had to pull a waitress over and ask where our server was. About a minute later the manager came over and apologized for the wait and took our order on the spot. A waitress stopped at the table after and asked if we needed anything. Our food came out about 15 minutes later. I had the Chicken Cheesesteak and my family ordered the Honey Chicken Salad, and single pizza and a kid sized pizza. All of the food was prepared well and tasted great.
The check came and we saw that they took 50% of the total of the bill. We were pleasantly surprised that they acknowledged our bad experience and turned it into a good one. I didn’t get the name of the manager that was working at the time but I would like to personally thank her for going out of her way to make our dining experience better. I would highly recommend this location as they provide excellent customer service and the food is very good.
