Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G MEAL,our daughter went Tuesday 02/10/2026 night after 9p and the Monterey cheese burger was absolutely the best burger I’ve had in year’s. Whoever made it needs to be recognized as cook team lead it was moist and perfectly delicious. Thank you to the team at Leeds location for an awesome meal Tuesday night. You are appreciated!!

Asked for no tomatoes and add ketchup . Got tomatoes and no ketchup, lol. Also, the fries were pretty tasteless. The burger was pretty good tho, and that barqs root beer hit the spot, so 3 stars for that at least. I’d definitely eat there again

You can ALWAYS count on 15 minutes or more WAITING in the drive thru at this location, it’s as dependable as the sun coming up the next morning and Taxes. If not for my son’s obsession eating fries we’d never return.

My first time going to Whataburger, the food and service were amazing. Upon entering, the place was clean and super busy. The gentleman that took my order greeted me as I entered and told me he’d be right with me. I glanced at the menu, and it looked pretty basic for a hamburger place, but after trying the food… it was amazing. This isn’t the basic fast food chain I grew up going to like McD, Burger King, or Jack in the Box.
We ordered:
1. Patty melt meal with large onion rings and large chocolate milk shake- Words can’t describe how good this was. It was meaty and cheesy. The double patty matched the amount of bread. It was a perfect ratio, and the Texas toast just tied everything together. The chocolate milkshake was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. It was thick, almost like a frosty, but tasted was better. I was surprised at how big a large milkshake was compared to anywhere else. The onion rings tasted like the kind you’d get at a diner.
2. Bacon and cheese whataburger with a double patty large french fries and large sweet tea and lemonade – This was amazing. The veggies were fresh and crisp. It was almost like the perfect salad. This was equally cheesy and meaty in each bite. French fries were addictive and went well with the spicy ketchup. The sweet lemonade was super sweet but balanced perfectly with the lemonade.
3. Small strawberry shake – for a small, this was comparable to a large shake you’d get anywhere else. This tasted like fresh strawberry shake, not the generic nestle quik or canned strawberries you’d have somewhere else.
Honestly, the whole experience start to finish was amazing. The gentleman who helped me was super nice and helpful in figuring out what to order. My drinks came out fast before my food. I went to my truck to bring the drinks to my husband. This way, it would be easier when the food comes out. Right when I was about to walk back in, someone came out with my order. He told me no point of you going back in just to get your food. He told me there were napkins, 2 ketchup, and 2 spicy ketchup. I was like, “Thank you so much. You didn’t have to.” Then he asked me if I wanted anything else or any other sauces. I told him, “No, thank you and went back to the truck. Never has anyone done that before with any fast food order I’ve ever made. I’m not sure if that’s how they normally do thinks but I truly appreciate how they went above and beyond.
On a side note, I thought that it is really smart how they place the french fries and onion rings in a square container. I’ve always hated how the container just spills or fries and stuff always falls in the bag.
I don’t know why this place has so many bad reviews. I highly recommend this place and can only hope that the quality of food and service is the same at any of their other locations.

Whataburger corporate please just close this one down as it makes the brand look bad. Not one person that works the drive through has any people skills.
You will wait forever and they cook everything to order.. even biscuits it seems. One time they handed me pancakes and sausage so hot it burned my hand through the bag.
I’ve given them multiple chances over the last 2 years and I am done with this location.

Food was hot and delicious. It was absolutely worth the little wait. Couldn’t wait to get home to devour this yummy goodness. And by the way, this is my first time trying Whataburger!

When I am out an about, I will not eat at any other take out, for the price, getting a quality meal. Real meat made to order! I been in a Whataburger in several states maybe 1 or 2 in all the years have disappointed. With today’s fake meat an shrinkage at the industrial drive through. Try a Whataburger I really don’t think you will forget it!

There are no Whataburger locations local to me, so when I’m traveling past one, I usually plan to stop for a meal there as a treat. This was my first time visiting the Leeds location, and I have to leave a review because the service and food were 5/5. Whoever was running the night shift on 7/26/24 did a great job. The food was fresh, and the service was great. Much appreciated!

I stopped by here ok my way back home. I decided to dine in to eat to get a bit of a break from driving. It wasn’t crowded when I was dining in.
Go up to the counter, place your food order in, take a seat with the number given to you, and they will bring it out to you. The burger was decent, nothing too fancy. I’d stay up to par with other locations that I could remember.
The restroom was pretty clean as well.
