I have loved going to this property for years since it was The Cure Lounge. I saw on Facebook that their grand opening as “The Neon Room” was Febraury 6th– after the last business closed due to overserved underage drinkers. Checking here on Google- it says they do not open until Thursdays. Every time I have tried to come here they are not open. There is nothing online anywhere that says otherwise. Finally I had a free Thursday to drive across town and see a place I used to love coming to – hopefully open and thriving. One car was parked out front behind a bus stop- and a Neon beer sign was lit up in the upstairs window. I walk up and the door is locked. A woman in the window sits at a computer and I show her the “open now” portion of the Google map pinpoint and she looks at me like I am crazy. Doesn’t try to come out and say they are closed or anything.
Nothing here shows that a business is being operated as stated online. So if there is- it is very likely it is being illegally ran like the previous tenants–or they must be struggling to get the ABC on board. Nothing on the internet states they are closed.
A nice corner spot sitting- not maintained at all with a 50 thousand dollar sports car parked out front. Save yourself the trip. If you are from out of town stay away
